About Me
I am a child minder registered with SCSWIS. I have been child minding for over 8 years and loving my work. I am married and live in a large warm smoke free home with large garden. I have two grown up sons who have their own homes. I have a toy room where the children can play with a good selection of toys games ect. We also do a lot of arts and craft, painting, glueing, play doh and baking. I help children learn all basic skills such as colours, numbers, shapes, etc. I help school kids with homework if required. I offer a free settling in period for children to allow them to get used to being in my care. I visit a child minding group with the children, this lets the children mix with other kids.We go for walks and visits to the parks. I take the children to soft play centres.
My Experience
I have brought up my own children. I used to care for my nieces while their mum worked. I have had kids around all my life, love being with children.I also did voluntary work in my sons nursery. Over 8 years in child minding.
My Qualifications
I went through the required training with S.C.M.A. I have an up to date first aid certificate. I have been on s.c.m.a. safe and secure children protection course.
Falkirk council child protection course.
My Availability
I offer full time park, part time, term time, school holiday time. The hours I operate are Monday to Friday 8 am. till 5.30 pm. Can be flexible.
