I am registered childminder my name is Siobhan childminder 10 years recently moved to maghull with my partner Jamie who is joiner we have a stable relationship we have our own 4 children .aged 25 ,22 who now parents themselves and , 12 and 11 girls who live with us we enjoy days out doing things as a family we live close to park and farm local schools there public transport buses and train stations near by for commuting and traveling about with children i understand the importance for parents to go to work and as equally important to have reliable and affordable childcare I am patient fun person i treat all children with love and respect i have caring nature with parenting approach to childminding. I have been childminding since 2014 . Have plenty toys variety ages interests and abilities.
My daughter Ellie joined us in july 2020 also registered with Ofsted DBS first aider will work along side myself in supporting children encouraging and promote fun learning and development.
i offer a home from home environment for your children to feel safe secure and loved .we have play areas / play rooms bright warm with lots stimulating toys to keep your child busy . Large garden for outdoor play fresh air (puddle suits wellies recommended ) toys for all ages to play explore and develop skills . we do lots of activities baking , messy play , painting and lots more . outings can include soft play , toddler sessions, parks ,story time at library , farm.
daily routine ,activities depending on your child's likes and age days out in school holidays we have visited Gullivers world. Chester zoo Apple jacks Warrington . Southport fair beach odeon cinemas etc keeping busy!!
we also have a secure back garden with play equipment ,
availability for children between 0-11+
i offer ( 1-2 x)1 hour settling in visits for young children to ensure you and your child are happy these are free and help with transition (depending on availability and start dates if they can be fitted in we will do best we can )
2 and 3 and 4 year funding places available contact to check eligibility. We will be offering new 9mth-2yrs funding for working parents September 2024
We offer holiday club if looking to keep your little ones entertained days out and fun activities to keep them busy includes meals and snacks during time with us (contact to check for availability)

My Experience
children of my own in 2023 I became a nanny to 2 gorgeous grand children i am a qualified childcare practioner worked in a sure start childrens centre for 9 years . i have good knowledge of the EYFS framework , promoting learning and development through play and new experiences, encouraging children to develop confidence and self esteem , social skills., language and communication whilst having fun which will help them in there transition to school when its time for them i am passionate that all children should be given opportunities and experiences

I wouldn’t waste your time contacting. They say one thing and then change it.
They let you know they will be in contact for a visit and then they aren’t so you have to chase them.
Sounds like they’ve got too many spinning plates with no real management structure.
Agreed days which were available which were then given away a day later to someone else.
Very glad we never went through with this person.

We gave uou Availability at the time of your enquiry we do try fit in visits best we can but unfortunatly we have had children settling in past few weeks and activities outings planned and wasn't able to give you visit straight away . The children in our care come first and like any new child they are given full attention to help settle into new environment and could mot offer you a visit whilst settling children
I did contact you last week with available days/times we could do your visit but you were away on holiday and couldn't make it .I also explained was half term this week you returned and were only open few days and couldnt do any visit till week after.
In regards to comment about agreed days although you wanted thf 2 dsys i had available no agreement was signed between us we were asked by family already in contract with us to change her day and we give priority to.families already with us which I explained to you I also offered you 1 alternative day and the second day of your choice was still available childcare availability does change all the time added sessions, reduced sessions ,change days,school leavers which is when space opens up

I moved my 15 month old from their nursery because he wasn't coping very well, I saw another few childminders but Siobhan and Ellie just seemed perfect. Benjamin seemed so settled during settling sessions and it's only his first week but he's already so much better in comparison to the nursery, hes eating his meals, hes content and I just love the personal 1-1 he gets with Siobhan. He loves cuddles and i just know I've made the best decision for my little boy! I'm also really loving getting photos and videos of him, it's so nice to see what he gets up to. Thank you for review he has settled in well to his new routine only his first week big change new environment and new friends we love his cuddles and seeing his little dimples when he gives the biggest smiles such a cutie xx
My littleone started at 9 months old and just seemed so settled and happy straight away! I visited a number of childminders when choosing someone to care for him an I am so confident the right decision was made. I love the professionalism of bstars and the facilitys are the best I came across.
I moved my daughter (age 4) out of her preschool to be with Sibohan an Ellie and I am so glad I did. She comes home so exicted to tell me all about her day and actually gets excited to go - such a big contrast to how she was whe attending preschool! And I love getting the pictures and videos of what they have been upto it feels like im not missing out too much.

Thank you both doing really well settled into our setting with no problem like always been with us both made friends I'm glad she tells you her day she has great imagination little artist tells a story to the pictures she draws we love it !!
Hes also becoming so confident got his own little personality already and always full of smiles x
Both my children attend Brightstars Childminding and we cannot recommend it enough. My children are happy and are genuinely excited to attend. The intimate setting allows the children to develop and follow the EYFS framework giving them the best start before going to school. The holiday cover is also fantastic and a massive help to us.

Thank you loved having them both over past few years hope he settled into school well and enjoying it ! It was sad and emotional to see them leave after so long watching him develop from young age to leaving us for school life he has great little personality confident clever little boy with his passion for dinosaurs too

Ellie and her friend done an absolutly fantastic job looking after my 2 babys I couldnt recommend enough! even my kids loved her an thats sayin alot! Will defo be hiring her again she was brilliant
