About Me
I offer a warm, friendly, stimulating childcare environment in my own home and have been a registered childminder since 2010. I hold a Level 3 qualification in Child Care, Learning and Development, as well as valid first aid, food hygiene and DBS certificates. We regularly attend activities in the local community including groups at the library as well as visiting many parks and places around the Cwmbran area, often meeting up with other childminders and their minded children. Primarily a child led service, our activities are based around the children’s individual interests and the current season, with lots of outdoor play and activities to enhance the children’s learning and experiences. I offer child care Monday through to Friday from 8am in the morning until 5pm in the afternoon (1:30pm on Fridays). Timings outside of these stated times may be able to be arranged, depending on the number of children currently in my care and the hours required. I offer full time, term time and part time places, as well as wrap around for those children attending nursery. I am registered with various childcare voucher schemes and with the local authority to deliver the 30 hours funded childcare.
My Experience
I have been a registered Childminder since 2010 and am registered with CIW (Care Inspectorate Wales), who register and regulate my service. I have valid first aid and food hygiene certificates. I am also a member of PACEY (Professional Association of Childcare and Early Years) and have been since registration in 2010. Both myself and my husband are CRB checked. I regularly undertake CPD courses to enhance and refresh my knowledge and am also currently undertaking learning to become a Hygge in the Early Years Accredited Setting.

My Availability
1 vacancy currently available for a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday for a child under the age of 18 months.
1 further vacancy will become available from September 2022 (potential to start August 2022) on a Monday, Tuesday for a child under 2.
Full day, part day, term time only all considered where hours fit in with availability.
Currently all school drop off and pick up places are taken.

£40 per day
I am registered with various childcare voucher schemes, the government tax free childcare voucher scheme and the local authority 30 hours childcare scheme.
Fees include meals, snacks, drinks and transport to and from activities and nursery settings. For the 30 hours childcare scheme, a small additional charge is payable to cover meal expenses.
