My name is Claire. I am a happy and confident person who is lively, energetic and loving. I have nannied for 9 years now. I have also got 5 years nursery experience behind me. I'm very responsible, reliable, good at time keeping and as flexible as I can be. I am very passionate about working with children, caring for them, helping them to develop and having lots of fun helping them learn and grow.
I am adaptable to families wants and needs and am easy to fit in.
I have now grown my own family and have a loving, sociable 4 year old son, who is full of character. We love getting out and exploring outside, lots of walks, parks and many adventures, rain or shine. As well as enjoying playing inside, getting creative( painting, messy play, baking, sensory trays) and learning, colours, numbers, letters, phonics, general knowledge and so much more!

My Experience
I have had 4 nannying jobs my first commencing in 2012:
I was a sole charge nanny for 1 &1/2 years for 2 boys, starting ages:8 months and 4years for five12hour days, i enjoyed this job but unfortunately due to redundancy in the family I had to move on to a new adventure.
I then nannied for 2 families, a 3 year old and a school run pick up, aged 8 years, again unfortunately to family relocating I moved onto a new family.
I nannied for two children aged 4 and 6 for nearly 3 years. Sole charge from 7am-6:30pm, three days a week.
My job ended with this family as I went on maternity leave and the children were older so they didn’t need me back.
Both the previous two nanny jobs had specialist circumstances, which I can discuss Further Via message or interview ,if you are interested in discussing a job role further.
My current nannying job, I have nannied for a now nearly 3 year old since he was 11 months old. My son comes with me and it works really well, they’ve built an amazing bond and has helped develop many social skills. The family are now due a baby and due to many circumstances they no longer need me, so I am now looking for a new nannying adventure to embark on

Before I began nannying, I worked at a nursery for five years (2007-2012)as a nvq level 3, room leader of 2 year olds room and the assistant manager.
My Qualifications
2001-2007: I was educated at Invicta Grammar School, Maidstone, where I took and passed 11 GCSE’s in; English Literature, English Language, Maths, Science(double), Geography, German, Design and Technology, RE, IT and Citizenship.
Also AS Levels in; Health and Social care, Design and Technology, Sociology and General Studies.
I have an NVQ level 3 in childcare.
I have previous Paediatric first aid , training in health and safety and Food safety,attended a days training on safeguarding children and an EYFS course,(the current curriculum followed in nurseries. I have food hygiene and have completed my SENCo course to.
Am happy to complete any up to date training that is required or preferred for your family!

I am now Looking for a new nannying adventure.
I have a previous DBS which I had one done for a care job around 2020 and am open to becoming Ofsted registered again.
