About Me
I have been a childcare practitioner for the last 17 years, and love seeing my little ones grow and develop over the years. I continue to train and stay up to date with my professional development so that I can provide the highest quality of education during these most important formative years.
I believe that imagination, creativity, inquisitiveness, confidence and kindness are the cornerstones of a child’s experience at our setting. We offer personal homely childcare, hoping to give complete peace of mind to parents. Our main aim is to create and provide calm, safe and stimulating environment where children have freedom do develop at their own pace, holistically and academically. We help them learn to care for and respect each other whilst learning how to be part of a group.
I have continuously been rated as Ofsted “Good” since opening, including our latest inspection in 2019. I work with my assistant. The whole of my ground floor is dedicated to childcare. We have separate sleep and play areas. We provide secure garden where children enjoy experiences from across the curriculum, including telling stories, making mud pies, exploring habitats, and a range of outdoor equipment which allows them to take risks, all supporting the development of positive attitudes and behaviour. We undertake nature walks and we engage them in gardening. We provide a range of practical and educational activities that help put them on a path of becoming well-rounded individuals.
We have a wealth of resources which we use according to the needs of the chosen topics of the week, which are constantly refreshed to maintain creativity and variety. We update parents with weekly reports of what their children are learning. We work with the children’s unique talents, skills and interests to achieve a higher quality of learning.
We provide children with healthy home-made meals during the day, which are carefully planned and reflect balanced diet, dietary requirements and dietary preferences. We take responsibility in encouraging healthy and active habits from the start. We encourage children to get involved in choosing, preparing and learning about the benefits of the food they eat. We encourage them to sit and enjoy their meals together, as that develops healthy eating habits and positive bonds between children.
Our setting is unique as children come from a range of cultural backgrounds. We are proud to say that we enjoy celebrating this diversity through a rich mixture of cultural exchange of languages, foods and traditions. It all makes our year so much more colourful as we mark different celebrations and traditions. Exposure to such diversity is making our children more curious and interested to learn about other cultures and places, and is preparing them to understand and enjoy the diversity of the world around them.
Education is a continuous process that starts at birth and involves the home, the community, the early years setting and schools. We support children to become creative independent thinkers and competent communicators. We encourage them to thrive and to become life-long learners, makers and possibility thinkers through unique and diverse experiences. We aim to nurture children’s understanding of the world and themselves.
We encourage them to look after the environment around them, to care not only for their friends but also for everything around them, plants and animals as well as their toys used for learning and playing.
We aim to help each child to develop a sense of self-respect, self-confidence, self-discipline and an awareness of and sensitivity to the needs and beliefs of others, so that they have a positive impact on society as they grow up.
My Experience
As a mum of two, I have been childcare professional for more than 17 years. Over the years I have had the opportunity to tackle several important issues that encouraged me to train further and develop my knowledge and thus support families in a more tailored manner. These issues included children with delayed speech, shy speakers and those whose first language was not English. We also had the opportunity to support children with severe food allergies, as well as very fussy eaters, and we managed to help them and their families deal with and overcome specific food-related issues. We were able to help parents in settling sleep patterns of their children through specific routines, diet management and exercise for the little ones.
Throughout my career I worked with children of different ages and abilities. I am trained to deal with specific behavioural issues, often related to separation anxiety, as well as various developmental delays, where we worked both with children and parents on developing successful further support.
As part of my professional development I am currently undertaking the NPQ (National Professional Qualifications) training as Early Years lead.

Our daughter has been with Neeta for the past 4 years and is just leaving to go to school aged 5. From the moment she started with Neeta we knew we had made the right decision.
Neeta goes above and beyond to ensure the children feel secure and loved and provides such a warm, family-feeling environment. It really does feel like a big happy family!
Our daughter has thrived in Neeta’s care which was the reason we kept her here until she started school instead of moving her to a pre school. The individual attention and care that each child gets is the reason why they all thrive.
Neeta has supported us as we navigated the early years as new parents and we have loved seeing our daughter develop and grow with the support of Neeta.
We honestly cannot recommend Neeta enough and we have done so to many friends whose children have also been looked after here.

Dear Sam,
Thank you so much for you warm and kind words. It has been a pleasure having Luna with us. We wish her all the best for the future and her new adventure.
When I went back to work after mat leave I was very worried about dropping off my little girl at a big nursery setting but could not afford 1-2-1 care. Neeta provided all the love, care and attention we could have possibly wished for. Now that our second child is old enough to leave Neeta's care we all feel equal parts incredibly sad that he's leaving and grateful to have had her and her lovely family in our lives.
Everything at Neeta's setting is excellent; from the food, to the garden, to the educational activities and the attention she gives every single child. As a parent, you can be 100% confident that at Neeta's your child will find the love and care they need in your absence.

Dear Hekate,
thank you so much for your kind words. It has been such a joy for us to care for your little ones and see them blossom. We will surely keep in touch and will be there for you when you might need us.
With warm hugs,
Neeta
Both of our children have been with Neeta from the age of 9 months. The eldest is now 4, and we were devastated to leave Neeta because we moved away from the area. Neeta's setting is wonderful - she has a wealth of experience, imagination and resources, is deeply committed to her charges and provides for each of them as individuals. She is tremendously supportive of our family (including wonderful care & assistance following the birth of our second child during the Pandemic), focussed on our children's development and keeps us up to date with pictures & ideas for them. She radiates warmth and affection, and our children have thrived in her care. We consider Neeta and her family to be part of our family now. We could not recommend her any more highly..

We looked into childminders when my 10 month son struggled to settle at a nursery and how lucky we were to find Neeta.
Her experience, wisdom and support were so beneficial. We found the setting to have a warm and family feel but with the structure and learning you expect from a nursery (if not better!). You receive great reporting and regular photos throughout the day which I love. He has had a truly happy and fulfilling time.
My son has just transitioned to preschool after being with Neeta for 2 years. I would say his confidence and ability levels are all down to the work by Neeta.
My son will continue to go in holidays and my younger son will start next year.

Dear Amy,
thank you so much for your kind words. It was a pleasure to have your older boy with us and support him to develop and grow. We are looking forward to seeing him over the holidays. We are also looking forward to greet your little one into our setting next year. With warm hugs and kisses to our two little princes.
Neeta has child minded our son for the last two and a half years for 4 days a week. We rate her extremely highly. Our son has thrived in the warm, caring and stimulating environment she provides the the children under her care. She takes time to understand each child’s needs and areas to develop and is excellent at communicating with parents to update them on progress and with ideas to work on. She was very reassuring in the early days when our son began going to her setting and he settled in very quickly. She seems to have endless resources and toys and games to keep them stimulated and entertained but also to help them learn. The meals she cooks always look and sound nutritious and delicious and our son eats a huge variety of foods with her that he would never try at home! He has thoroughly enjoyed his time with her and has made very good friends. He has also progressed very well with his motor skills and speech and Neeta has ensured he is fully ready for the next stage of pre school. She also provides great flexibility which is very helpful for two full time working parents. We know we are very lucky to have her so close and to have the opportunity for our son to continue to go to her setting in school holidays. Thank you for everything Neeta!

Thank you very much for your warm words. We really enjoyed having your son with us and teaching him and supporting him to grow and develop so much, especially his speech and his gross and fine motor skills. It has been a joy to talk and discuss things with him and see him master complex movements. He is now a big boy, ready for new experiences and new friends in his school. Please share with us how the new chapter in his development will progress and send us pictures to see him grow. With warmest hugs to our big boy.
