About Me
I live in Fordingbridge and enjoy playing netball and football when I'm not working. I love to be outside, which is why I lead the nature nurture sessions at my previous job and took part in forest school sessions.
I have two sisters whom I enjoy taking out on day trips. I have a son, he was born in October 2018.
My Experience
I have worked with children professionally since 2011 and currently work for BCP as a family support practitioner. Before this I worked in a children’s home for looked after children where I was a senior and therefore worked closely with professionals such as social workers, as well as line manage people within my team. This required myself to work closely with children and young people who suffer from EBD. I am first aid trained, and DBS checked. Before working professionally with children, I babysat for family friends regularly. I have had experience with children diagnosed with being on the autistic spectrum, Cerebral Palsy, as well as being visually impaired. I have a sound phonetic knowledge and the ability to support children in their phonetic learning.
