Hello, I’m Aimee, and I am 28 years old. I have over 7 years experience in the childcare sector in a range of different settings.
I also offer babysitting services, evening and weekends. I happy to come to your house or to look after the children in other settings (e.g, hotels, weddings or parties etc).
I have paediatric first aid qualifications and also other in house training certificates, including safeguarding. I gained my level 2 in food hygiene and have completed a Level 2 course in Understanding Autism. I have also completed a Beach Schools course at Level 3 and have carried out a few sessions at the beach. I am also looking into studying child psychology by an open university course in the future. I am very passionate about the work I do and I feel like this is important when it comes to working with children because they need to have to best care possible. I also enjoy thoroughly taking on extra training to further my knowledge in this sector.
My Experience
I have had experience in working with children ranging from 3 months to 12 years of age, although most of my work within the nurseries has been in the toddler rooms. Alongside my nursery experience I have also worked in several other settings, and these are including being an Ofsted registered child-minding assistant, working in an SLD school, a pack away pre-school, a primary school and a sports holiday club. I also have brief experience in working in an elderly care home which I did to extend my knowledge and skills.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social care. l I gained my level 2 in food hygiene and have completed a Level 2 course in Understanding Autism. I have also completed a Beach Schools course at Level 3 and have carried out a few sessions at the beach.
