About Me
I am a Registered Childminder with over 20 years experience. I am a Quality Assured Childminder and a member of the Children Come First Network, so therefore can access funding for the early years. I was graded Good at my last inspection. My husband is a Landscape Gardener and also registered as my assistant.
I aim to provide a flexible, affordable service in a friendly, family atmosphere. I have all appropriate insurances in place. I am a member of both English Heritage and National Trust and take the children on many varied outings. I attend many local groups to ensure that the children learn social skills that mixing with other children provides.
I offer a wide range of toys and activities and tailor them to each childs age and interests. I am required, under the terms of my registration, to follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and enjoy completing folders with photos to monitor the childs development.
My Experience
I have completed the DHC (Diploma in Homebased Childcare) and recieved an A grade overall.
I have completed training to become a quality assured childminder
I have just recently up-dated my paediatric first aid
I have undertaken some training in speech and language development
