My Summary

My Experience

My childcare experience started with babysitting around my local area in South Wales, I then had sole charge of a 7 year old boy a couple of days a week after school, this soon developed into pursuing a full time career in childcare.

In 2013 I started to nanny for a family with two boys aged 2 and 9 months old. I had sole responsibility for both boys and developed a strong relationship with the family. They also had a third baby whilst I was working for them, which gave me the opportunity to have sole responsibility of a newborn.

I also worked in a Montessori Nursery with ages from 2-4, I was part of the key worker system and enjoyed helping children learn and develop within the setting. Whilst working at the Montessori nursery I had the opportunity to complete a Level 3 NVQ in Children's care, Learning and Development.

I was previously working for a family in London with three beautiful children, B5, G3, B1 I had sole charge while both parents worked full time. I prepared all meals, took the eldest two to school and nursery, took B1 to appropriate baby groups, swimming lessons, after school activities, nursery duties, help with homework, organise play dates, I have also travelled with the family on their holiday.

I believe its very important that children can connect with their carers on a level that suits them and I am keen to play and learn with them in a creative and productive way as possible

My Qualifications

I have GCSE's grade D and above in English Literature, English Language, Maths, Double award Science, Geography, History, Art and German.

I also have A Levels in English Language, Communication Studies and Sociology all C grade.

2:1 in Foundation Degree Community, Health and wellbeing.

I am looking for a nanny position for Wednesday and Thursdays.
