Hello, I’m Brooke! I am 27 and have 11 years experience as a nanny with a variety of ages and needs. I have been with the same family for 8 years now caring for a child with additional needs.
I am happy to travel where needed and can be flexible with what hours fit around your family.
I am currently on maternity leave but will need to return to work from the beginning of October.
I love being outside (in all weathers!), getting creative and cooking/baking.
I follow a gentle parenting approach both in work and at home with my 2 children (5 and 3months). I believe in giving children a safe, comfortable space for them to learn, make mistakes, express themselves and find their voice when doing so. I’m also a firm believer that the best way to learn and develop is through play! So love making even mundane tasks a little fun.

My Experience
I have had the privilege of working with three wonderful families over the years and have been in my current job for 9 years. My job requires me to care for young children, cook, light housework and plan activities for play and learning. I have experience caring for two children with additional needs who require help with motor skills, physical therapy, feeding during meal times and personal care.
I also have volunteer experience in 2 different nurseries, a Montessori pre-school and a home where I was then employed as their nanny.
I obtained a TQUK level 2 certificate in counselling skills. The skills I learned from this course have become very important within my work to help children and families as a whole to feel safe, heard and cared for.
My Qualifications
In 2021 I received a TQUK Level 2 certificate in counselling skills.
My Availability
I am available everday during the week and when I am needed in emergencies.
