About Me
I have always loved working with children helping them to grow and develop. When I left school I went to college to complete a 2 year full time course in Home Management and Family Care. I have been a registered childminder for the last 21 years and have worked with children for over 34 years. I live with my husband and our two sons in our own 4 bedroomed house on a quiet road in Hampton Vale.
My Experience
For 13 years I worked in preparatory schools as a matron, caring for all the children's pastoral needs also sharing in the care of the headmasters 4 young children. I then ran a Crèche in a gym for 1 1/2 years. After getting married I became a daily nanny to twin girls aged 10 months and their 3 year old sister until my own son was born in 1997, followed 3 years later by his brother.
I have experience of caring for children with additional needs.
Apart from my own children I have cared for children from 7 weeks old up to 13 years old. I am registered on all 3 registers with Ofsted, which are as follows The Early Years Register-which covers from birth to 31st August after a child's 5th birthday (for this I deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage [EYFS] with its standards for learning development and care, along with and in partnership with all other carers.
The childcare Register-compulsory part, which covers children from 5-8 years
The Childcare Register-Voluntary part, which covers children aged 8 years and over

My Availability
Times are 7-30am until 6pm Monday till Friday later or earlier may be available by agreement.
I currently have before or after school space collecting from Hampton Vale school
I also have full day space available during school holidays.
Additional space due in September 2019 when 1 current children start school.

My girl started going to Linda's in August and we are very pleased with how happy they are. They love being at Alinda's as they call her. Younger one still attends nursery elsewhere and just doesn't like it. She prefers being with Linda. I can't recommend this lady highly enough. She is full of patience and professionalism. The kids alway talk about what they learned at Linda's we see results and have no problem communicating with Linda. Thank you Linda!

I feel very lucky to have found Linda, she's just simply wonderful in every way and my son absolutely loves her..
She always goes the extra mile and you can see how much all the children adore her.
She made my return to work after maternity leave so easy and I feel 100% happy when he's in her care. I'd recommend Linda to anyone.

My 2 children have been attending Linda's care since birth ( about 9 yrs now), Linda is a very calm character with a wealth of knowledge and she tries to be as flexible as she can especially when I used to have to work abroad or when I needed to go out for dinner in the evenings. I would recommend Linda to ally my friends.

My boys have been going to Linda for a few years now and I cannot rate her highly enough. She is extremely reliable, always flexible and I always know that my boys are safe and happy in her care. I even kept my boys going to Linda when I was in between jobs as they got upset when I told them they may not be going there for a few weeks! I hope to continue with Linda until my boys are old enough to look after themselves! She is wonderful.
