About Us
Marshside Primary School is a smaller than average-sized primary school in the Marshside area of Southport. Our school overlooks the RSPB nature reserve.
We believe in a partnership of children, parents, staff and governors. In our school the ethos is to place the child at the centre of everything. We have 7 classes for children aged between 4 and 11 years of age. Our last Ofsted inspection in February 2015 judged us to be a good school. In January 2016 we were informed that we were one of the top 100 performing and improving schools nationally.
Our school motto is, "Treat others as you would like to be treated." We consistently aim to provide every child with opportunities to acquire the skills, which will enable them to become life-long learners. All children are encouraged to be creative, enthusiastic and risk taking in their learning.

Our Childcare Provision
The school runs breakfast and after school clubs.
The breakfast club is open from 7:30am and costs £3.50. This includes breakfast. We also offer a drop off facility from 8:20am for £1. The children are then taken to class at 8:45am for the start of the school day.
The after school club starts at the end of the school day 3:20pm, until 5:25pm. The cost for this is £5.00 and this includes a light snack.
There are a variety of activities open to the children who attend the club.
