About Me
Hi Mums,Dads and Carers my name is Sam being a parent myself I truly appreciate the need to find good quality Childcare . I provide a stimulating and safe environment that complements the children I care for. I aim to assist in their ability to develop into confident and assured children . Having worked in Social Services I have had 10 years experience working with Children and Families and have been childminding for some 19 years now with a child of my own whom I Home-schooled so I do offer Home-education for parents who are interested but can not fulfil due to work commitments. I have just completed my fifth First Aid course and am CRB checked with a recently received GOOD Ofsted inspection. The children in my care attend play groups, Story n Song time sessions and we go to many of the local librarys ,parks,museums and local soft play centres. Although a non driver I still can accommodate School drop offs to local Schools being Larkfield and St Patricks.
I have a large bright play space with a varied range of indoor and outdoor toys to suit all and a beautiful Garden .

Sam is amazing! She is not only a childminder but she is also someone who attends, accommodates and considers not only the children but also the parents needs. My daughter is 4 and loves the time she gets to spend with Sam and also the other children who are at the provision. I love that Sam finds the time to differentiate the needs of all the children in her care and I can see this has Positive impact on their development. I would highly recommend Sam to everyone and anyone.

Sam is a lovely, patient, reliable and caring childminder. My son Liam enjoys going to her provision where he can enjoy a broad range of activities (construction games, learning games, visits to the park,...). Sam's communication is outstanding as she provides a brilliant debrief at the end of the day (what the kids have done, what they had for tea, any feedback from the school etc). She is also quite flexible and makes every efforts to accomodate ad hoc requests. We are very happy we found her. Thank you Sam !

My 3 Yr old son started doing wrap around care with Sam this January when he started at Kilmorie Nursery. He is so happy and settled with Sam, was instantly comfortable in the setting and is making strong friendships with the other children. He loves the games and toys he plays there and has so much fun he is often reluctant to come home at the end of the day. Sam is really switched on, she notices what is happening with my son, always passes information on from nursery and is a brilliant communicator. Starting doing wrap around care with Sam has really helped my son settle into nursery, he likes the balance of spending part of the day in a smaller, more focused environment would highly recommend! We bring snacks for the week which removes another potential point of tension for a picky eater.

Sam looked after my daughter from 10 months old and was still providing holiday care for her until she was 7-years old.
Her environment is fun and child centred. She provides a stimulating environment and encourages each child in their interests and passions. Each term has a theme to explore and related trips out support those learning outcomes.
I can't recommend Sam highly enough!

Sam has been looking after both my children and has helped build their confidence, communication levels and natural development wonderfully.
Her way of conducting child led activities and her ability to listen to and communicate with the children in her care - as well as the parents - is above and beyond any other carer I have come across.
I have only warm and positive words to describe our experience with Littleuns childcare.
