Introducing 2018’s ‘Babysitter of the Year’ awards!

Babysitters can be a godsend to many families, allowing parents to easily manage everyday life, work and childcare. There are some fantastic babysitters in the UK, who have a real impact on the children they look after and the parents they help. We want to show our appreciation for them and give parents a way of doing it too!

This is why we’ve decided to launch Childcare.co.uk’s first ‘Babysitter of the Year’ awards, so parents from across the UK can vote for their babysitter and help give them the recognition that they deserve. We don’t mind your reasons for voting -  it could be as simple as your children love them, but we ask you to consider attributes including their punctuality, flexibility, if they are responsible, friendly with children, confident, knowledgeable and their value for money.

Voting is simple, just go on to your babysitter’s Childcare.co.uk profile page and click ‘Vote’. You’ll be asked to write a short statement on why they deserve to win, which may appear on their profile as a review for all to see.

The babysitter with the most votes will be crowned the ‘Babysitter of the Year’, and we will also be awarding regional babysitters of the year for the South West, South East, Midlands, North West, North East, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The winning babysitters will also enjoy a 'Babysitter of the Year 2018' award logo on their profiles!

Voting will be open from the 11th January 2018 until the 25th January 2018 and we will announce the winners on the 31st January via our social media platforms.

Terms & Conditions

The Babysitter of the Year 2018 awards are open to individual babysitters advertising on the Childcare.co.uk platform only. Babysitting agencies or other childcare agencies are prohibited from using our platform, entering the awards or being eligible to win. Parents must vote for individual babysitters only who have provided personal babysitting services for them. We reserve the right to reject votes where we have reasonable cause to believe that the babysitter has not provided babysitting services for the family. Any babysitters found to be voting for themselves or requesting votes from others who have not used their services will not be eligible to win and may have their profiles permanently suspended from our platform.
