Loveliest childminders

My daughter has been going to butterfly’s for just over one year and she absolutely loves it. She is a super timid little girl and they support all of her needs and put so much effort into learning about her and are always so attentive to her. She has the bestest time here 4 days a week and it’s been so lovely watching her in such a fun and calming environment. I was a very nervous mum when she was due to start childminders at the age of one and wasn’t sure if I wanted to send her at all but Andrea reassured me all the time and always keeps us updated with what my daughter is up to during the day and this has carried on every day she’s been there for a year. My only regret is not sending my daughter sooner. My son will be joining at nine months old and I have nothing but confidence that he will have the most amazing time and is in the safest hands. It really is a lovely home from home environment. Not too strict just loving, fun and caring. I love the amount of outdoor play they have and how they are aloud to be creative and messy and do their own thing without being stopped (unless it’s unsafe of course haha). Butterfly’s definitely has the children’s interests at heart and I’m so grateful both my baby’s get to go here! Thankyou butterfly’s

Andrea is amazing

Andrea was childminder to my two boys for several years. She started looking after my youngest when he was about 18 months old, my older son 3. Even once they both went to primary school, she still occasionally cared for them during school holidays. They absolutely loved her. My youngest son - now 10 - still talks about her and how nice she was, despite having not seen her for many years now. To make that big an impact on a child is remarkable. Andrea always had plenty for them to play with, but she also put a huge amount of effort into getting them pre-school ready, helping with writing, drawing, number and letter recognition, patterns and much more. She used to take plenty of pictures and write up notes (which I still have) documenting what they did every day. She'd take them on brilliant trips to parks and petting zoos. I knew that when they were with her, they were being educated, entertained, having fun and most importantly, loved and taken care of. She was an absolute godsend to me as I had no family to help with childcare. I can highly recommend Andrea if you need someone to look after you little one when you cant. She is brilliant.

great childminder

Andrea has looked after my daughter for many years in different capacities and has always been a positive part of my daughters life. My daughter has ASD and had some complicated needs which Andrea has always handled with care and positive solutions to problems Erin has . I cannot recommend Andrea enough .

a dream come true

a wonderful childcare option. Andrea offers something more like a boutique nursery in a home environment than traditional childcare in the home. i could not have dreamt of anything better for my child. a caring, supportive environment incorporating a well thought out gentle learning programme through play individualised for the child. very impressive. experienced, kind, great with all types of children from what i could see, from very shy to very active. a dream come true for me and my child. amazed she has any availability at all - apparently several of the little ones have just started school....
