Outstanding Childminder

Sophie has cared for our son for over three years, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better childminder. The only reason we’re leaving is because of a house move and a change of schools, otherwise we’d of stayed with Sophie for many more years.

From the very beginning Sophie has been caring, loving, and nurturing. She provides a warm, homely environment where children feel safe, happy and valued. Our son absolutely adored his time with her and always came home full of smiles and stories.

Sophie goes above and beyond every single day, helping with homework, supporting learning through play, and always taking the time to listen and engage. Sophie always prepares healthy, nutritious meals and encourages good habits in such a gentle, positive way.

We can’t thank Sophie enough for everything she’s done for our family. She has played such a big part in our sons early years, and we’ll miss Sophie dearly. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have Sophie as their childminder, she is truly exceptional!

Excellent!

We were incredibly fortunate to have Sophie's care for our daughter. From the very beginning, she showed genuine kindness, patience, and warmth that made our little one feel completely comfortable and loved. She always went above and beyond to create a nurturing environment, providing not only excellent care but also engaging, age-appropriate activities that kept our daughter excited and learning every day. Her creativity and energy made playtime both fun and educational. We also appreciated how mindful she was about preparing healthy, nutritious meals — something our daughter truly enjoyed. Most importantly, Sophie was someone we could fully trust. She was reliable, responsible, and always communicated clearly with us. Knowing our daughter was in such caring hands gave us peace of mind. We couldn’t have asked for a better nanny and highly recommend her to any family seeking compassionate, trustworthy childcare.

Wonderful childminder

Sophie looked after my 2 year old for just under a year. The setting is wonderful and spacious with a lovely garden. I had never left either of my children until my eldest went to preschool so was very anxious leaving my youngest and choosing a setting had been difficult, but Sophie was warm, welcoming and accommodating from the very first meeting. My daughter settled well and enjoyed the variety of activities on offer from baking and crafts to days out at National trust and Dinton pastures! I liked that they undertook activities we would have been doing as a family. I felt very happy in the knowledge that my daughter was safe and content with Sophie. It was great to be updated daily online with pictures and a summary of their day together. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sophie for those seeking outstanding childcare in Maidenhead.
