My name is Rhea and I have recently begun doctoral training as an Educational Psychologist. I have recently moved to the Hastings area with my boyfriend and am looking for some part-time nanny/babysitting work to supplement my student bursary. In my spare time I like to read, walk by the sea, cook new and exciting things, and paint and draw.
I have lots of experience of working with children and young people in educational settings, as well as in their homes and in the community. In particular I have experience of working with young people with autism and learning difficulties. I have worked as a primary school one to one LSA for children with special educational needs, a LSA in a special school for young people with complex needs aged 16+, and as a pastoral support worker in a further education college. I have also worked as a holiday Nanny to a child with autism, and as a personal assistant to young people with autism and learning difficulties supporting them to be independent and access the community.
I have a bachelors degree in Fine Art, an MSc in Experimental Psychology, and am training for a PhD in Educational Psychology. I also have a level 2 First Aid qualification, a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training, and Level 2 in Equality and Diversity.
I am available during school holidays, evenings in the week in term time from 6:30, most Fridays all day, and at weekends.
