Clare has been great in supporting my 4 year-old daughter’s transition from nursery to Dane Bank Primary. She’s been reliable and flexible when needed, and my daughter has settled in really well. She’s made new friends easily within Clare’s child minding household , and we’re very happy to recommend Clare as a trustworthy and caring childminder.

We feel so lucky to have Clare and Hannah care for our son, both their kind and caring nature shines through. He thrives in the fun and supportive environment and truly loves going. Fabulous communication, gorgeous food that is made with lots of love and amazing crafts and activities for the children. We couldn’t ask for anything more, highly recommend!!

We count ourselves very lucky to have had Clare and Hannah doing everything they do with our daughter from 10 months old. Their energy and care really shines through in the way they interact with her and how they communicate the updates.
Everything from the homemade dinners to the structures of the day are focused on enriching the kids. They create a creative and safe environment that allows our daughter to feel comfortable to explore and learn. They have themed days (eg. Remembrance Day and Children In Need) which keeps things fresh for the kids and allows them to learn about culture.
We absolutely recommend speaking with Clare and Hannah about places!

Clare is by far the best childminder around. My little one has been with Clare for over a year and his confidence, development and speech has blown my mind. She is so patient and caring and treats the kids like family. The little ones are always out and about, doing sensory activities, themed arts and crafts, playgroup, parks and more. The lunches and snacks Clare provides are healthy, homemade and well balanced. Clare communicates thoroughly with the parents throughout the day and at the end of every day we get a breakdown of naps, meals, activities and even nappy changes. As a working mum I feel confident and at peace leaving my little one with her every day knowing he is safe and loved there.

My son started with Claire this September at 13 months old, and in just a couple of months, we’ve seen incredible progress in his development. He absolutely loves going and gets so excited every time we drop him off!
Claire and Hannah are truly amazing — they genuinely care for the children they look after. We often see them at our local playgroup on my days off, and even when they’re not “on duty,” they always make time to play with and engage with my son. That says so much about how much they care.
I work in safeguarding, so I can sometimes have trust issues when it comes to childcare — but I have complete trust in Claire and Hannah. They make both my son and me feel so comfortable and confident in their care.
Communication is excellent, and we’re always kept up to date about how his day has gone. We’ve never had a single issue.
I’m so grateful to have found Claire and couldn’t wish for better care. I hope my son is luckily enough to stay with her right up until he starts school.

When we first relocated in 2023, everything felt so new and overwhelming, but finding Clare was truly a blessing. From the beginning, she welcomed our daughter with such warmth and kindness, helping her settle in and feel completely comfortable in a new environment. It made our transition so much easier knowing our girl was in caring and capable hands. Overtime, Clare has become such an important part of our daughter's life. She provides a safe, loving and nurturing space where children can grow, learn and be themselves. Shalom always looks forward to spending time there , and it's heartwarming to see how happy and confident she has become under her care

Clare is a fantastic childminder who goes above & beyond for all children. My son settled in straight away at clare’s & has loved it ever since, we would be lost without her. Would highly recommend to anybody looking for a childminder.

Our daughter started with Clare age 9 after being with a family friend since she was 14 months old, so the change felt like a big step for us. From day one, Clare has been absolutely wonderful — kind, welcoming, and so easy to talk to. Our daughter settled in straight away and absolutely loves being with her, always asking to be left there later and later in the evening. She always comments on how beautiful Clare’s home is and how nice Clare is. Clare has such a natural way with children of all ages, and her warmth and approachability shine through in everything she does. We honestly can’t thank her enough for making the transition so smooth — it feels like our daughter has been with her forever. We would 100% recommend Clare to anyone looking for a truly caring and nurturing childminder.

My 7 year old son has been under Claire's excellent after school care for the last 2 years. He is always collected from school on time, he is fed well but above all he always has things to occupy his time, whether that be drawing, playing games, doing puzzles, local trips out or simply interacting with the other lovely children. Claire provides a safe, loving and stimulating environment for my son which usually means that he is disappointed to be leaving when I collect him. I'd recommend Claire to anyone who is currently searching for childcare or maybe in the future. Professionalism with a smile, that's Claire.

Clare has looked after my eldest daughter for 3 years and we moved my youngest to Clare soon after. This was the best decision we made. Clare is an excellent childminder who is very organised and reliable. Clare takes my youngest daughter to playgroups and will set up fun and exciting activities for the afternoons. Both my girls thoroughly enjoy their time at Clare’s and will often ask to go and play there during the holidays. Clare’s communication is excellent and we receive regular feedback on how our girls are progressing. We have full confidence with leaving our girls in Clare’s care. Clare is very proactive and personable. We would highly recommend.

Clare is amazing ! My two sons have been with clare for the last 6 years. My youngest boy has severe epilepsy (Dravets Syndrome) and is very delayed. I never worry about my youngest when he is with Clare as she is brilliant with him, she is really good with children with special needs. He loves going to clare's, he even wants to go at weekends when we drive past :) Clare is brilliant, very organised, the house is lovely and set up with everything the children need and all the children there are very happy there, she cooks great meals and the boys love it. I cannot recommend clare enough she is brilliant.

Clare has looked after both of my boys since they were 6 months old and they are really a part of her family.
From day one we have all been made to feel welcome.
The care the children get is amazing. The assessments, activities, meal times and the access to all of the play facilities is great. Clare takes the children to playgroups, dancing and messy monkeys
I would recommend Clare to anyone looking for childcare. I feel confident and safe leaving my children and know that in her care they are receiving a lot more care than the five stars I am giving her on this site.
The new experiences my children get to try are again amazing. The different foods and meals supplied are all home made and of exceptional quality.

It was the first time I had used a childminder and I was a bit aprehensive as I had seen Clare at school but not actually known anyone that had used her . At the time my children were 3 and 7 and there now 14 and 18 and still love Clare to bits .I had no need to worry as from day one she made my children feel welcome. At the time I was starting a new job and the children were starting new childcare and after the first day I knew I had made the right choice choosing Clare .
She is a a brilliant childminder and kept me up to date with what the children had been doing and how they had been during the day . My son could be clingy at times with me when I left him at other places but he never once cried or said he didnt want to go . I would fully recommend her 100% .

Clare was my sons childminder from March 2015 until I finished my degree in 2018. I was looking for a childminder who could provide an engaging and friendly environment, was reliable, and was someone who my son would enjoy spending time with. Clare exceeded all of these expectations!
As my son was older, she always made sure that his needs were catered for, as well as for the younger guests. From days out to the local parks in the school holidays, hiring bouncy castles and teaching him how to bake and cook, he very much enjoyed his time with Clare.
When collecting Sam, the laughs that could be heard from the picture and painting decorated porch (courtesy of the children) before having even entered the house was a clear indication of the happiness of the children.
If you are looking for a childminder, then I would definitely recommend Clare. Her house was a home away from home for my son, and we both look back on his time spent there with fondness.
