About Me
Hello! My name is Antonia and I've spent the last 18+ years as a nanny and an au pair prior to this - working alongside families with small children all the way from tiny babies (as young as newborn,) to pre-school and older years. I absolutely love working with little people! :) I'm fun, energetic, extremely caring and my experience means I'm able to confidently manage all different types of situations. I specialise in nanny share arrangements and I'm very familiar with working with two or more children at any time. I like to fill our days with activities whether that be local parks, activity centres, baby/toddler groups or arts and crafts at home (working around naps as needed). I grew up in South Africa and then moved to Europe working as an au pair in Amsterdam and Belgium for 2 years, I then came to the UK and live in Stoke Newington with my family. I have been working locally for over 8+ years in Hackney and the Haringey borough. I have great references and can if helpful arrange references with my prior families. My Experience
I have 18+ years experience working with children - a lot of my time with children aged 12 months to 5 years old:
- Worked in Holland as au pair for 1 year
- Worked in Belgium as an au pair for 1 year
- Worked in London for the last 14+ years as a nanny. Have worked sole charge, nanny share, and with parents that worked from home. A quick summary is noted below and I can provide a detailed CV if interested:

I have no age preference as I can see myself working with any age groups. I have newborn experience and the fact that I have my own children means I can bring my personal experience in to the mix too.

My Qualifications
I have over 16 years in childcare experience which is priceless and I've encountered many situations therefore I'm incredibly adaptable. I'm first aid trained and have a CRB. If requested, I could become OFSTED registered.

Antonia has worked with our family for three years, looking after our children from small babies all the way to pre school age. She adores kids and is one of the most kind, caring people you could wish to meet. Because she has such depth of experience, she has been super helpful in supporting us with getting into good sleep patterns, weaning, potty training etc. She is very outgoing so plans lots of fun developmental activities for them, working around their normal routine. Antonia always shows up in a positive happy spirit, the kids love her as do we. She has become a real part of our family.
Overall
Antonia has been our nanny for the last 3 years and has been simply brilliant! She adores children - is kind, loving, and outgoing, and is passionate about creating an engaging, fun environment where they can develop. I love the fact that Antonia always thinks about different activities on a daily basis and plans ahead. It doesn't matter what the day, Antonia is here with a smile on her face and is an absolute joy to be around. Antonia started with our first daughter at 10 months old in a sharing arrangement with a friend's child of the same age. She then progressed on to our second daughter at 8 months old (now nearly 2), again in a sharing arrangement. I cannot speak highly enough of what Antonia has done for our two children, but also our family. Both myself and my husband have busy jobs and the stability and support of a nanny who you trust explicitly is so fundamental. She is incredibly easy to be around, flexible and adapts to each families needs. Would highly recommend.
