About Me
Hi, my name is Karen, I am a registered childminder with the care inspectorate Scotland ( SCSWIS ) I live in the Southhouse area of Edinburgh EH17. I have 4 children, 2 still at home, both girls, 1 is at college and my youngest daughter is still at school. I am a non smoker and it is a pet free home. I have a 4 bedroom main door with large front garden and large secured back garden, the back garden has a double play house and lots of outdoor toys for the children. I am also a member with SCMA.
My Experience
I am a mum of 4, 2 boys and 2 girls, my 2 sons have their own homes now and the girls are still at home. I am a qualified nursery nurse and registered childminder. Previously I have minded children from birth to 7years, I currently look after a 3 year old on a Tuesday and Thursday and a 4year old after school on a Monday and Thursday, I also have my 3year old niece 1 morning a week. I enjoy working with children as it a very rewarding job, I aim to provide a warm and caring environment, with lots of stimulation for your child, I offer arts and crafts,painting and drawing, play dough,Lego for all ages and numerous toys so your child will never be bored. I have been a qualified nursery nurse for 20 years and have always had children in my home.
