Hi, I've been a nanny for over 15 years now and still love my job. I have completed an MNT training course to become a maternity nurse, and I'm thoroughly enjoying my roles. I am an outgoing person (young at heart) who has lots of energy and enjoys the outdoors and am very active. I also enjoy cooking, travel, socialising, meeting new people and gaining new life experiences.
I have gained a wide range of expierence during my years as a nanny. From birth to teenagers, multiples, special needs, fostering, proxy parenting, night nannying and accompinied families on their holidays. I also undertook some voluntary work overseas for a childrens hare lip and cleft palate charity. I'm now an experienced maternity nurse. In this my extensive background as a nanny is a huge advantage. I have got experience with singles and twins, silent reflux, support while breast feeding and expressing and also the transition from breast to bottle. I've had several repeat bookings from families and have also accompanied one family during several short haul and one long haul trip with twins.
I have a City and Guilds in caring specializing in child care which I passed with credit, up to date CRB, currant paediatric first aid certificate. MNT maternity nurse course level 3 passed with 98%, and insurance
I have excellent checkable references.
I am mainly looking for maternity nurse work, but would also consider part time/ temp/ ad-hoc/ emergency jobs and also night nanny work. I am happy to work outside of my home area, both in this country and abroad.
