Nisha has been a truly wonderful childminder for my children for the past 3 years and I would not hesitate to whole-heartedly recommend her. My youngest goes to play several times a week and my eldest asks to go too, in the school holidays.
Nisha has a lovely warm, friendly and relaxed home, where all the children seem to really look forward to seeing each other. From the very first day, my children were happy to stay with her and miss her and the other children, during holiday times. When we arrive at Nisha’s house, my children run straight in to find the others and get engrossed in play, they often forget to say ‘goodbye’ to me and quite honestly I love that!! - it shows me they’re happy, comfortable in their environment and looking forward to their day ahead.
Nisha provides a great array of activities and toys to entertain the children. She loves to take them outdoors to play parks, play groups, day trips and nature hunting. At her house they get fully involved in messy play, painting, glueing, colouring, experiments, themed activities, gardening, writing and number practice, plus more. The children even recently cared for some caterpillars, watched them change into butterflies and learned all about them, before releasing them to nature. Nisha follows the whole EYFS framework to consider all aspects of the children’s development and has ensured good communication with my sons Pre-School as well.
Nisha has the perfect balance of professional yet approachable and friendly. She had been super flexible and accommodating as my work hours have increased and days been changed.
Nisha doesn’t live in our immediate area and there are plenty of other childminders who live closer, but we are so grateful we found her and hope our children will remain friends with her children for many years to come.
