About Me
Hello, my name is Ruth. I am a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic 30-year old with experience of caring for children of all ages. I enjoy silversmithing, reading and exploring Salisbury plain with my puppy. I am also DBS checked.
I spent a year (2013-2014) working as a live in au pair in Bulford caring for two amazing little girls. Now in my own house with my husband and dog I work full time as a Project Manager. I am available for babysitting for evenings and weekends.

My Experience
Having grown up in a large family (five sisters and one brother plus a bunch of nieces and nephews) I have had a lot of experience of looking after children of all ages.
I spent 2013-2014 working as an au pair in Bulford near Salisbury. Looking after two little girls was the most amazing experience and I would love to broaden my childcare experience with some new families.
Now I babysit on an adhoc basis to local families for the occasional night etc.

Ruth was very caring and considerate, before I left, my little one was struggling and Ruth was able to settle her which made me feel at ease. The children can't wait to see her again my daughter said that she misses her.

Ruth is kind, empathetic and fun. She genuinely cares for your child when looking after them, and it is obvious to see in the bond they develop. More than this, she makes sure the time they spend together is fun and full of activities. We trust her completely, she is a responsible and considerate person and we recommend her wholeheartedly. Thank you Ruth we will all miss you!

Asked some helpful questions in advance.
Arrived on time and got involved straight away, introducing herself to the kids and asking them questions.
Was flexible and happy to meet our needs.
Settled the kids well, who both fed back that they liked her and would be happy to have her look after them again.
Coped well with one of the kids being a bit difficult going to bed too.
Have us useful feedback about how the evening went.
