An Outstanding and Caring Childminder Highly Recommended

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Durrey and would highly recommend her to any parent looking for a caring, passionate and dedicated childcare setting.

My son Rehmat started with Durrey just after turning three. At the time, he had a language barrier as English was his second language and, at home, he mainly spoke his mother tongue. Rehmat is also a naturally quiet and reserved child, so we were a little unsure about how he would settle and develop his confidence.

From the very beginning, Durrey went above and beyond to support him. She provided a wide range of fun and engaging activities, including English singing, stories, creative activities and arts and crafts. She also incorporated learning through play and carefully covered all seven areas of learning within the EYFS. She gave Rehmat one-to-one support whenever he needed it and always took the time to understand his individual needs.

One of the things that meant so much to us as a family was how thoughtful Durrey was with his meals. Rehmat enjoys traditional home cooked food, and Durrey would kindly prepare food separately for him to make sure he was comfortable, happy and eating well. She always made sure his individual needs were looked after with such care.

The progress Rehmat has made has been amazing. His confidence has grown so much and he now speaks English confidently at home. He can write his own name, give meaning to his mark-making in full sentences, and has developed a strong knowledge and understanding of the world. He is also very confident with numbers and is beginning to learn phonetic sounds and read some words.

These achievements are a reflection of the time, patience, encouragement and dedication Durrey gives to every child. She is incredibly passionate and caring and genuinely goes above and beyond to help children learn, develop and feel valued.

We are so grateful for everything she has done for Rehmat and for the positive start she has given him. We truly feel that we were very lucky to find her.
