I have been a registered childminder with Ofsted for over 20 years and I am a member of Pacey, I have two sons of my own that now live away from home and have 6 beautiful grandchildren. I have a large garden with a playhouse, lots of toys and activities that the children can enjoy. I have many activities in the home for the children to do including messy play and educational games. I also have a car (with child safety seats) for outings and adventures.
My son Dreu has worked for me for 4 years. He is Ofsted approved, had his DBS Check (police check), done his level 3 first aid course and is up to date on his safeguarding courses. He also has 6 children of his own, who think the world of him and all live together with him and their mother.
I have been a registered childminder for over 20 years. I love watching children grow and achieve to the best of their abilities as individuals. I have lots of experience with children of all ages and stages of development. I like to take the children on outings along the seafront, the woods and to the parks. I believe that the outside environment is healthy and exciting for children to explore the world while enjoying themselves. I also enjoy taking the children to local facilities around Cleethorpes and Grimsby. I also take the children to toddler groups for them to play with other children and make new friends.
I hold a full first aid certificate.
Diploma in childcare level 3
My childcare services are open between the hours of 06:30 to 18:30 but my hours can be flexible to suit the parents who are on shifts, I also do evenings and weekends for parents whose children I look after within the working week.

Kez is an absolutely outstanding childminder. My 2 children thoroughly enjoy spending their time with Kez, while I go to work. Kez has been VERY understanding with any difficulties I've had and always tried her best to help me with whatever she can. My children always come home so happy and tell me about their day with Kez. Very professional and highly recommend to anyone! Amazing.. thank you! X
Since removing my daughter from this child minder, I have found out a few things, she was late picking my daughter up from school on many occasions and didn’t feel I needed to know this! I’ve asked for copies of my invoices that I have paid to her, and she is ignoring me, which I need to send to the council to prove that I paid for my daughter to go here! Very un professional, not once was my daughter taken out like keron promised she would do, as it also states on her profile! Few other mums have mentioned they have taken their children out for exactly the same reason!! A lot of money to pay to sit in an house all day!!

Hi, I’m sorry that you have this view on my childcare services. The review you left previous was lovely and if you had any problems with my provision whilst I had your child in my care I wish you had of spoken to me about them at the time. However I would like to clarify a few things, i postponed my service due to breach of the finance contract on your behalf and until this was resolved I could not have your child in my care. I have provided you with every invoice of every week you paid for my services. I apologise that I picked your child up a couple of minutes late on the add occasion however I often have small children and babies with me along with other school children I pick up, due to parking spaces (Im sure everyone can agree parking is terrible near most schools) I had to make sure I had a safe parking space with room to get all the children in and out safely as their safety is paramount. During the time I had your child I didn’t go out to the park etc due to the timing only after school, I have children being picked up from my provision every hour from 4-6 and proving snacks or tea for children that have been at school all day. I am unsure of what of parents you may have been speaking to but i hope that all my mums are happy with my services and trust that if they had any real issues they would talk to me. As stated in your previous review I am very understanding and try my very best to make the children and parents happy. However this is my business and my way of living. I have to save a child’s place, when that space is filled I can not take on anymore children therefor that slot needs to be paid whether the child attends or not (as stated in the contact). I throughly enjoyed taking care of your child and wish her all best for the future
Since tia has been going to Kez it has enabled me to go full time work instead of part time. It’s such a relief knowing that my daughter is looked after. I know my daughter enjoys going as she gives kez a kiss and cuddle every night when she drops her off, if she didn’t like going she would tell me and wouldn’t do that. Kez as literally saved my life as I have no one else to help me so I can work. Kez keeps me informed with pictures and any info that I need to know from school. Brilliant from day one, if I’m struggling Kez also understands. Trust is a big thing, if you haven’t got that then it wouldn’t be right. We have got in from day 1. As long as my daughter happy then I am and no need to worry.
In a nutshell, Kez has been brilliant from day one. She's approachable and easy to get on with, she's really great with children, really cares about them, and she knows her stuff. My son has been going two months and adores her already.
We were hesitant about leaving our son (3 yrs) with anyone outside the family, and Kez was really understanding. She gave us plenty of opportunity to visit so my son could get used to her and I could see her with him and the other children. He took a shine to her straight away.
First and foremost, it's obvious that Kez loves children, loves being part of their growth and development - and that shows in her positive, nurturing manner and in all the fun things she does with them. She teaches children to share, take turns and be mindful of each other. She's very clear with her boundaries and expectations, and enforces these consistently and with kindness and plenty of praise and rewards.
Kez really listens to what you need and will bend over backwards. In my case, she has offered to arrange and sometimes re-arrange days so that my son gets to socialise with as many children as possible – which is really important to me in the run-up to starting nursery.
My son was anxious at first about going to a childminder, and he became quite clingy with me. However, Kez built up a great rapport with him very quickly, and would send me pictures of him playing and laughing minutes after I left and throughout the day, which was very reassuring. Now, he can't wait to see her and often doesn't want to come home!
I'm really pleased with how much time my son gets to spend outdoors with Kez. She regularly takes the children out and about to various parks or walks around the local area, or trips out further afield – for example a recent drive out to the countryside to look for animals and farm vehicles.
When indoors, children do a range of activities. Sometimes they play freely together with toys of their choosing; other times they do more structured adult-led activities like play-dough, art/craft sessions, dance/exercise routines and messy play. There's lots of variety and a good balance.
Kez incorporates learning goals into the children's play. These are matched with their abilities and fit with the government's guidelines. My son has been expanding his colour vocabulary for example, and practising counting objects up to ten, and she's helped him to develop a really good pencil grip when drawing. Kez records the children's achievements and progress in a tracker booklet, and parents can see their child's tracker any time they like.
I've got no hesitation in recommending Kez. Our son is really well cared for, learning, enjoying himself and growing in social ability and confidence.
Finally I should mention that Kez's assistant Demi is really knowledgeable, friendly, full of enthusiasm, and our son really enjoys spending time with her too!
Kez has been looking after my four children for a few months now and they’ve fallen in love with her, she sends me photos regularly of them painting drawing playing with play doh etc .. She’ll send a message in the morning to let me know my older children have gone into school ok which is very reassuring all my children love spending time with her she’s very polite and friendly and she’s always happy to help and work with you I’m lucky to have found Kez as I wouldn’t be able to work and attend university without her support. . If your looking for a polite friendly and supportive childminder who is great with children and who can work with you on hours you need them I’d highly recommend Kez
