Andrea was an absolute star with our 18m old son, when she looked after him for.12 hours whilst we went to a wedding.
It was the first time we had left him that long and the first time anyone else would put him to bed - and we were stuck in a hotel room with no fridge for milk and few familiar things. We also had no real knowledge of the area or how it might work at the hotel for food etc but Andrea was just an absolute hero and took it all in her stride. She made a plan to take him to the aquarium for the day and get him hot food whilst out. He had so much fun and she was so engaged with him from the moment she met him - grabbing his attention with some fun toys she had brought. She communicated brilliantly with us the whole time (as I asked for loads of updates!) letting us know whenever they were driving between places, where they were all the time and loads of pics of him just having the best time! It was so much easier to relax and enjoy the day knowing someone so professional, thorough and caring was looking after him. Andrea asked loads of questions, (we met for a video call beforehand), but was then so helpful in shaping the plan and making it all work for us all! He was a bit of a challenge to switch off at the end of the day and go to sleep not having seen Mummy and Daddy, and in a strange place - a big ask of a little one and I was fully expecting one of us to have to go home then. But Andrea was totally on it, got him all ready for bed, read a million books and then wrapped him up warm to drop off in the buggy, which worked a treat, and he was peacefully tucked up in bed then by the time we got home! Receiving a pic of him soundly asleep as we hit the dancefloor was the best feeling ever, Ill remember that for a long time! I couldn't recommend her enough.
