About Me
I am an OFSTED registered childminder rated OUTSTANDING in January 2024 with many years experience in childcare. I have three children of my own. They are all grown and flown the nest
My home has a dedicated playroom and closed off secure rear sensory garden, as well as the front garden which has large play equipment and another mud kitchen and beautiful cherry tree.
We attend childminding groups and music groups weekly as well as visits to the woods, parks and places of interest .We also follow the curiosity approach which encourages child led play involving montessori and Reggio practices. So a very blended approach which fits in around the children's individual learning and development.
My Experience
I have many years childcare experience My setting is very much child led where the children are free to move around, explore and be curious.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ qualification in home-based childcare, NVQ level 3 pediatric first aid Certificate,Senco Trained, Child Protection, a Diploma in Child Psycology and Adult Psycology and more! Please ask, I am more than happy to discuss qualifications and experience with you.
My Availability
I do not offer school or preschool drop offs as I am an early years only Setting. I accept children up to preschool age and able to take the government funding and tax free allowance as well as universal credit.
I live in wymans Brook near the racecourse.
I currently have no vacancies.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.45 per hour
£7.45 ph private. I accept the government funding.
Inclusive of breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks, nappies/ wipes and entrance fees to all groups/days out.
Healthy lunchbox to be provided by parent.

If you're ever lucky enough to come across Maxie with availability then snap it up! Nobody else compares, not even close. She goes above and beyond any expectations. My daughter loved going to Maxie's and we were very sad when it came to an end.

Maxine soon became part of our family. Our son started with her when he was 11 months until he turned 3 and he absolutely loved it there. The amount of care, dedication and love she offers you won't find elsewhere. We visited a number of child minders and hands down Maxine is the best. Our son flourished under her care and we love that she only takes early years and not a large number of children like other places. It was his home away from home. We still keep in contact with Maxine and if we ever had another would definitely use her again. Her home is clean and pet free which is another plus. She exposes them to a number things like toddler groups, different parks, post office, shop where she teaches them numbers, colours, etc. Her vision and way with children aligned with our gentle approach and that's important when looking for the right person who your child will be spending a lot of their time with. Plus she uses common sense...if the children are under the weather or its cold season she doesn't expose them to that which was great. Not many people use common sense these days and our son was rarely sick under her care.
She sends loads of pictures so you know what they get up to and you can carry the theme on at home if you like.
Safe to say we were spoiled by Maxine.

My daughter started with maxi when she was 5 months, Maxine provides a lovely environment for the children with a range of different indoor and outdoor activities. They attend a number of different groups every week. My daughter has developed into a lovely little girl through the love, care and attention she has received x Maxine dedicates her home to the well being and safety of the children she looks after.
If Maxine ever has a vacancy snap it up as it will be the best decision you ever make for your child xx I would very highly recommend Maxine.
