Hello from Janet ( Shepherd ) & Amanda ( Moore)
A little bit about us :
I am married to Tony. with 2 grown up children. Amanda (my business partner) is married to Jason and has one son Elliot.
We have worked together for many years in managerial roles , we looked at what parents wanted and what we could offer and with this is mind decided that we could match these requirements and offer an excellent service. We know an understand what it is like for parents who are (as we were) nervous of leaving their children whilst they go out to work.
We are both fully Ofsted Registered and NCMA members and also members of the Warrington Childminders Association. Our recent Ofsted Inspection graded us as Outstanding in ALL areas, we are the first two childminders to attain this grade in the new framework within the Warrington Area.
We have both attended many relevant training courses and seminars and both have our NVQ Level III in Childcare( All certificates are available for viewing on request ).and we continue to both update and build on our knowledge.
Our our setting has a "home from home" feel which the children we mind enjoy and is a place they all feel welcome, comfortable, cherished and able to be themselves. and one where parents are assured their children will be safe and extremely well cared for in their absence.-- the next best thing to being there themselves!!
Amanda took the leap first and has been childminding for 8 years now and I followed later and "Tots to Teens Childcare" was formed. We are based close to all motorway links and the Town Centre.
We are both car drivers and each have fully insured 7 & 8 seater vehicles with booster/baby seats as appropriate to children being driven. We have regular outings to nearby park areas , soft play areas. and places of interest. We look forward to hearing from anyone interested in the service we offer and will actively try to accommodate any parental requests/requirements. Please feel contact us to discuss your requirements.
