My son attended Lucia’s setting for a year, from when we moved into the area up to when he started at a school nursery. And what an amazing year it was! He was thoroughly welcomed from day one which ensured he settled in quickly.

Lucia was always so bubbly and jolly each morning on drop off, which meant my son started his day very brightly and happily. Each day was filled with all sorts of activities - always very varied too - which included plenty of play with toys and puzzles, reading, dancing and listening to music, dress up, cooking, painting, colouring and other crafts and lots of outdoor play if the weather was good! He very proudly brought home lots of his crafts, and we still look at some of them now. Attention was paid to different holidays/special days throughout the year (a great learning opportunity for the kids), and birthdays were celebrated so sweetly - this really made the kids feel special.

I could tell that Lucia regularly changed/upgraded her toys, which meant lots of new and interesting things to interact with.

Naps at Lucia’s were a breeze, although my son dropped his nap during the year, which Lucia also adjusted really well to.

Food was excellent - I was told - and apparently much yummier than what I make at home!!

My boy made some great friends at Lucia’s setting, and there was a lovely little group there, which also meant he looked forward to going each day. It was really such a wonderful, happy, caring environment for the children.

Lucia is very friendly and a popular member of her local community, which was also really lovely to see.

I would thoroughly recommend her setting for anyone looking for a childminder. We really miss going to Lucia’s!
