An outstanding practice

I have been using Prisca's Timey Home childminding services for a few months now, and I couldn't be happier with the care my child receives. Prisca is an excellent communicator, always keeping me informed about how my child is doing throughout the day. She is also very compassionate and I can tell that she truly cares about the well-being and development of all the children in her care.

Prisca goes above and beyond to create a welcoming and nurturing environment for the children. From providing healthy snacks to organising fun activities, she ensures that the kids are happy and engaged during their time at her home. I have peace of mind knowing that my child is in such good hands.

I highly recommend Prisca's Timey Home to any parent looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative childminder. I am grateful to have found her and I know that my child is in the best possible care when he is with her. Thank you, Prisca, for all that you do!

Absolutely amazing

Looking for childcare is a daunting task and one that I approached with mixed emotions but I need not have worried because I found Prisca’s Tiney Home!

From the moment I met Prisca I knew I could entrust her with caring for my son. Prisca took the time to introduce herself and her setting with enthusiasm and made my son instantly feel at ease. As a parent you want to feel assured that your child is going to be happy and cared for in their setting and I never had any doubt of this after meeting Prisca. Even before our first introduction, Prisca’s Instagram page gave me a great insight in to what a passionate and skilled practitioner she is. Every activity and resource is carefully picked for the children in her care, creating a stimulating and fun environment in which I have come to see my son thrive. My son is able to access a range of resources daily and the amount of love, care and attention he gets is unparalleled. I am a teacher and I know how demanding it is to set up an EYFS setting with differing children’s abilities and the Development Matters Framework in mind and both the indoor and outdoor environments in Prisca’s Tiney Home shine. From physical activities, to sensory opportunities, to fostering a love of reading - all areas of the curriculum are considered and implemented by Prisca (on a daily basis!). My son’s aptitude with language, maths, expressive art and design (and even life skills) has advanced greatly since he has attended Prisca’s Tiney Home and at his tender age this is no mean feat! It’s down to Prisca’s dedication and care and I honestly can’t thank her enough for all she does for my son. The greatest testament to Prisca and her setting is how my two year old is at drop off every morning…he is always thrilled to ‘go to school’ and he talks about his ‘school days’, his friends and Prisca on the days he is not there!

Prisca’s professionalism is another thing I would like to commend. I receive (daily) feedback, formal learning observations, I was able to purchase a uniform (which is so helpful!) and my son was provided with a book bag. His reading book and reading log is updated weekly and he loves completing the varied and well targeted weekly homework. I also receive a termly menu and always receive feedback on my son’s eating, which I really appreciate.

Prisca has made my transition back to work possible due to her willingness to work with my schedule and she always goes above and beyond. My son also benefits from trips out in to the local community with Prisca and again this is beyond anything I could have hoped for and due to risk assessments etc I always feel assured and know my son is safe. Prisca’s policies were a great introduction to the setting and standards from both sides were ascertained before my son began attending; again providing tremendous peace of mind.

I have no hesitation in recommending Prisca’s setting. It is run so professionally that it feels like a school but most importantly it is like a ‘home away from home’ for my son. Thank you so much Prisca.

The home-like experience

When looking for a childminder for my daughter, I needed someone who was not only flexible and trustworthy, but experienced and honest also.
Well, Prisca has all passion for her work and she is also a very dedicated and energetic childminder when comes to care and support children of deferent ages.
I can most definitely say, that not only we found a great childminder, but also my daughter made a life-long friends.
From home-made food to in-door and out-door activities, Prisca offers a structured dynamic and vibrant care for children that is safe.
