About Me
I have worked for the Department of Work and Pensions since leaving school until December 2007 when I took an early release. Since a young girl I have loved looking after children of all ages. My only regret is I did not pursue this line of work earlier. Better late than never!! I live with my husband, Andrew and 2 grown up daughters,Saralyn and Saliann. We are a welsh speaking family and have 2 dogs called Shani and Smot who adore children.
My Experience
I am a CSSIW registered Childminder since November 2008 following a year of courses and preparing my policies. Since my registration I have had over 36 children in my care ranging from 6 months-11 years old. My aim is to provide a safe and stimulating setting to children of all ages by providing activities depending on their age and stage of development. This summer we've had loads of fun ranging from swimming from days out to Oakwood Leisure Park and to the beach when the weather has been kind to us.Positive feedback from parents and their children has been overwhelming so far which proves I provide a stable but fun loving setting ensuring the safety and welfare of the children at all times.Recently had my second inspection since registration and the inspector was well impressed with the service I provide and in particular the care and love displayed by myself to all the children in my care. I was overwhelmed to have received such an excellent report like this in my first year of practising as a childminder and I will endeavour to maintain these standards at all times. A copy of this report is available to any prospective parents at request.
My Qualifications
Apart from 8 GCSE'S i have a diploma in CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Home Based Chidcare. I have attended courses in Basic Food Hygiene ,Child Protection and First Aid .

I was lucky enough to find Liz when my first child was very small, and i honestly couldn't have found anyone better. Liz then went onto care for my 2nd child from a young age aswell. My 'clingy babies' just took to Liz instantly, and there confidence grew and grew.
She provides the perfect home from home environment for the children in her wonderful home, and also provides the best trips out aswell..my kids loved every minute with her.
It was such a relief to leave my babies with someone i knew would probably do a better job than me lol. Always providing nutritious food, educational activities, and teaching general life skills with are so important, such as good manners etc.
Liz was a massive part of my girls early years, and a true asset to any child she cares for. I couldn't recommend her enough.
