About Me
I have always wanted to work with children and I feel that having an influence in the person a child becomes is a real privilege. I think that the sound of a child’s laughter is one of the best things ever!
Our family home is on the Wells (between Epsom and Ashtead). We have a large, well equipped play room and a safe garden with a built in sand pit and a trampoline. The Common is at the end of our road and we go out every day.
We do arts and crafts, sensory and educational play, meeting the EYFS while having fun. We go to the Downs, Polesdon Lacey, Boxhill, Bocketts Farm, local toddler groups, garden centres and meet up with other local Childminders.
My Experience
I have two children of my own, who are 14 and 10 and I've been childminding since September 2014. Prior to that I was a Medical Education Manager in the NHS.
My Qualifications
I have completed the Childminding Introduction Programme through Surrey County Council (August 2012). I completed a Paediatric First Aid course in 2021. I am an Ofsted registered childminder who was rated "Good" at my last inspection in May 2019.
My Availability
I will have one vacancy from September 2024, Mon to Thurs, term time only for an EYFS child. I will also have a space for a school aged child from Mon-Wed. I collect from the Greville, Barnet Wood Preschool and The Burrow in Ashtead.
