I am NNEB qualified and have 28 years experience in child care.
I also have three children of my own, two are adults and my youngest is 10 years old. I also have a beautiful one year old granddaughter.
I love routine and structure in my day. I love to take children to tots groups and other age appropriate groups. I have a passion for sensory play, messy play and crafty activities.
I love home cooking and providing healthy snacks and meals.
In my spare time as a family we love camping, we have a camper van, walking, and eating out. I love to crochet, creating gifts for all our family. I’m a musician, I love playing my flute and piano.
I home educate our son and have done for the whole of his education journey. It’s a passion of mine and an honour to be a part of a child’s learning journey, especially when you can tailor it especially for them.
My Experience
I have worked as a Nanny for two girls many years ago and we are close family friends now that their children have grown up.
I’ve also nannied more recently for a family with three children, we have also remained good friends. Sadly this job came to an end as the children grew up and went to high school and no longer needed a nanny.
I've worked in nursery settings and more recently as a family support worker/parental advisor dealing with families who needed support in behaviour issues, weaning issues, sleep routines etc but also families who had much bigger and sensitive issues going on with involvement from other agencies, this was a challenging and very enjoyable role.
i've had time off in between roles over the years for having children and being a mum.
My Qualifications
I am an NNEB qualified nursery nurse and have obtained various in house qualifications over the years.
My Availability
Im looking for a part time role, I can be flexible on days/times. I have well maintained car.
