Hi, I'm Emma and live in Rainworth with my partner & 2 children aged 11 & 7. We also have a lovely small 12 year old dog.
I currently do school runs to python hill for my own children.
I am now Ofsted registered!!!
I have completed all the relevant requirements to be a childminder. That includes full peadiatric first aid training, DBS checks for me and my partner (formally CRB), and I have completed the local authority approved childcare course, plus many other courses which are listed below.
I have always had a passion for children, and growing up I was always the family/friend child entertainer and then babysitter when I was old enough. I did some work experience with Surestart when I was 16 and thoroughly enjoyed it. My school life took me in other directions though and I ended up a manager a River Island until my daughter was born in 2012. I then set up my own graphic design business from home whilst studying to become a childminder. I was a childminder for a year before my son was born and then had a 7 year break from childminding but did graphic design instead.
I am available from 8am-5.00pm Monday - Thursday!
I am also willing to work weekends on the odd occasion.
I have a 4 bedroom house with a nice big fully enclosed garden with beautiful trees lining the back perimeter. (We have no houses behind us)
We have a seperate dedicated playroom which is attached to the dining room and there are lots of educational/fun toys & real life items to play with.
I am a very creative person and plan to do lots of hands on activities with the children, such as baking, making our own playdough, messy fun, arts and crafts, imaginary play, and painting etc. We will be following the curiosity approach as much as possible.
I hold a clean driving licence and have landrover Citeoen c4 grande picasso equipped with sufficient car seats to enable us to explore the great outdoors with lots and planned day trips!

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour

15 & 30 hour funded places.
Breakfast and after school clubs available.
6 weeks per year will be my holiday where no payment is due.

Emma provided care for my daughter during school half term. Such a lovely setting and the days were full of different activities and time outdoors. Highly recommend

Emma is the most fantastic childminder by far that I have met, I felt so relaxed and comfortable when me and my son first met her, she is a young enthusiastic lady who loves her job, she encourages lots of learning, fun, imaginative and messy play and everyday is different. She certainly is a fantastic childminder who in my opinion any child would be lucky to have her as their minder.
