About Me
For the last 30 years I have been an OFSTED registered childminder. I have recently decided to retire from that role and offer my services as a part time nanny or babysitter. I live in Highgate in-between Waterlow Park and Hampstead Heath.
I enjoy taking children for outings to the heath drop- in, parks, local farm, libraries,singing groups, playgrounds, etc.
My Experience
I have been working as a childminder for 30 years. I have looked after children from 6 months to 13 years old. I have also done voluntary work in the local primary school to help children with their reading skills.

From the moment I met her in her home, I was comfortable with her. She was calm, cheerful and I immediately had the feeling she knew what she doing. She looked after my daughter for the past year. My little one was 1 when she started and got used to her so quickly, I was simply amazed. There was not a moment of the day that I thought about my baby’s well being as I knew she was in great hands. Theresa took her out every day- to the park, Hampstead Heath, feeding ducks, local playgroups and singing groups and as my daughter began to speak, she had plenty to tell me about. It was a home away from home for her and each morning she would happily walk into her arms. We could not recommend her more and consider ourselves lucky to have had such a wonderful person looking after our precious child

Theresa looked after both of my girls from the age of 9 months up to 4 years old. During that time I worked and regularly had to change the days that she had the girls. She was always reliable and flexible and made it possible for us to meet work commitments.
Both girls looked forward to spending time with Theresa. She regularly took them to play clubs and the city farm. She was always careful and gentle with them and was affectionate and playful. I would highly recommend Theresa to any parent looking for a caring and sensitive childminder.

Our energetic daughter was in the safest of hands with Theresa for over a year and we wish it was possible to keep her now that she has started school. Theresa is a winning combination of strong but gentle, good humour and calm, and was 100% reliable when picking up or dropping off at nursery. Our daughter was always in the best of spirits after a session with her, whether having made an excursion to the park, the library, a local playgroup or music group. Theresa loves books, nature, and encouraging imaginative play and drawing, but most of all, is a firm believer in fresh air! As parents, we found communication with her clear and straightforward (and cheerful) which was exactly what was required at the start and end of busy days. My husband and I recommend her wholeheartedly.

Theresa has looked after our son from a very young age for a year now, and I am very happy with his care. He is always excited to arrive at her home to start his day with her. She is patient and kind with him and they go out for various adventures each day. I always have updates on their activity and his development when I collect him in the evening. I am grateful to have found her as it made the transition back to work as easy as possible; I know he is well cared for with Theresa.
