About Me
Hello, i'm Lisa. i am an ofsted registered childminder and hold a certificate to prove this. I am a fully qualified nursery nurse. Fully qualified Peadiactric, qualified level 2 in basic food and hygiene. I implement the EYFS helping your child reach each milestone and plenty of choice in resources inside and outdoors.
Placements are currently available with limited places.
Im flexible, so I can work Mon-Fri full-time contract. Early starts if required.

*local schools drop off/pick ups (i don't do any school pickup/ drop-offs at present) preferred school Orchard Head nursery and infants and juniors.
*2, 3, 4 funding will be sorted for the funding by the government in April 2024.
*fully safeguarding trained, Peadiactric first aid, diploma level 3 in childcare, policies and procedures in place covering my business, fully insured PLI, and legal cover. everyone in my household holds a DBS with a barring service subscription.
I am happily married to Simon, who works for the WYP. We are animal lovers. We had 1 fur baby our crazy rescue beagle from Romania, she is very loveable and fine around the children obviously never left alone always supervised, we have an indoor cat Tigz who keeps out of the way. So you must be animal lovers!
We've been together 28 years old and married for 20 years, we have 3 children together 24, 22 and 15.
We live in the Pontefract just off new hall rd, 5 mins from the M62 in a quiet cul de sac and have a large garden with plenty of space for the children to play and explore having a summer house built in the garden filled with lots of different resources.
My setting is a safe and secure, happy environment, I follow the EYFS and development matters helping your child to reach their targets. Where I will carry out observations and planning activities for each individual child interests.
I use baby's days as a communication platform for parents sharing all relevant information.

My Experience
I have 24 plus years looking after and working with children.
I am a huge rugby League fan, and I'm a team manager of a Junior Rugby Team. In March 2022, I took over as Club secretary. Set up our rugby team from scratch in 2018, so my weekends are busy busy but it's my passion like childminding!
Completed my level 3 diploma. Fully safeguard trained and a fully qualified First Aider.

We are so happy we found Lisa, Joseph adores his time with her! He's come on leaps and bounds and is always coming home with colourful crafts and things he's helped baked. She's always doing different activities with him and his meals are so varied and nutritious. I can't recommend her enough she's brilliant.

Lisa has previously looked after my 2 boys she picked them up from school helped them with their homework and made them feel part of her family. Her home is well equipped for children of many ages and she provides a wide range of healthy meals, she even asked for input from me on what my children liked and disliked to make sure they enjoyed their meals, showing the children's happiness is a must for her, I have recently had a new baby and I am thinking of going back to work and i cannot imagine leaving my children with anyone but Lisa. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a childminder.

Lisa looks after my two children ,they love going there every day Lisa takes them to school and nursery ,and has been a marvellous addition to there life's as they lost there mother in 2015 .they luv Lisa to bits the kids make lots of different things ever week she gives them the stimulus they need as young children .lisa and her family make them very welcome and part of there life i couldn't ask for a better childminder .the kids would go every day if they could it's the first thing they want to khow in the morning are 'are we going to Lisa's ' ?.can praise Lisa enough warm kind and welcoming .

Lisa has been picking up my son from school for a year - I always find her helpful, flexible and friendly. My son loves going to her home and playing with the vast array of toys that she has and playing with the other children at the setting and Lisa's own children, He is quite disappointed if I pick him up from school which is always a good sign that he is enjoying his time at her home. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a home from home setting for their child, where you know they will be safe and well cared for - thanks Lisa
