About Me
Hi my name is Shelley I offer a home from home safe, warm, fun and educational childcare settling.
I Also work in partnership with edinburgh council offering 1140 funded hours.
I am a fully registered childminder and qualified in childrens early years learning and development.
I live in sighthill EH11. I've been childminding for 15 years and before that a nursery nurse for 5 years. I'm a mum of two amazing children my son who is 20 and daughter 16 years old. We have 2 dogs and a cat which the children enjoy helping care for. 1 of the dogs is a therapy dog.
I have a large play garden and separate play room for the children to enjoy.
I have also done outdoor foresty outdoor learning training, we do a lot of outdoor trips.

Qualified and registered with the Care Commission and also a member of SCMA. I.have my baby & child first aid certificate. Attended Food Hygiene course & Child Protection workshop.
I also attend all training courses with scma
SVQ 3 in children's learning and develpoment at Stevenson College.

My daughter who is now 3 and a half has been going to Shelley since she was 10 months old. Shelley has helped in all aspects of her development. Cannot recommend her enough. Amazing bond with the children.
Great communication, fun and new activities for the children, outdoor play, introducing the children to health food and cooking an all round great environment.

After starting with Shelley in May, our little one has settled in brilliantly and felt like he has been there for a long time. Shelley has been fantastic and our son loves going to her every time. She does a variety of activities which he loves and his development has really progressed as a result.

Shelley has been looking after my daughter for 5 years and I highly recommend her she's great with the kids . She does a lot with the kids including outdoor activities soft play my daughter enjoys going to Shelley's every day

Shelley currently has my little 1yr old little girl and has done since she was 9months old & I intend to keep her there until she starts school,
Highly recommend Shelley my daughter is always happy to see her and happily goes over without any moan everyday !
Shelley has also helped with introducing healthy finger foods into my daughter diet & getting her used to eating herself.
Shelley is also very approachable and always gives me amazing feedback each day of how Murron has been !

Shelley took care of my daughter back in 2010 from age 2 until she started nursery. They were always up to educational and fun filled activities. Most importantly to me though Shelley did her best to continue the routine and structure I had at home. We used the same techniques for potty training, time outs and praise. Throughout my daughters time with Shelley she was always happy to go and enjoyed her time there. This meant I could relax at work knowing my daughter was being cared for and stimulated in a safe environment.
I look forward to using these services again for my son
