We as a family are incredibly sad to say goodbye to Barbara as our daughter Darcy sets off for school. Darcy spent 3 years from the age of 1 with Barbara from 9-4 Monday to Thursday. As for any parent putting your trust in a stranger was completely out of our comfort zone especially as Darcy was our first child but very quickly, we were put at ease and going to Barbaras every morning just became like second nature.

I will never forget the first day I met Barbara. Before we had even left Barbaras home I knew she was the one for us. Her beautiful home and loving family are a bonus. Barbara is always putting others first and will always go that extra mile to help.

We could not recommend Barbara enough. If you are looking for a home from home and a genuine, caring, thoughtful child minder than look no further. Darcy was always fed delicious home cooked meals and taught to sit at a table when eating. The children would often be taken out to willows farm, paradise wildlife park, soft plays and the occasionally trip to the seaside. Nothing was ever to much for Barbara.

It shines through how passionate Barbara is about her job. I don’t think it even is a job for her; she genuinely loves her time with the children. Darcy has grown an incredible bond with Barbara, something I never thought possible. She was not just our childminder, she was more to us, and she is now a friend for life.
