I found Emma after seeing a number of childminders and instantly knew my daughter would be welcome into her lovely home. Her older children and Bertie the dog make her environment very special, a real home from home. She has a huge amount of toys for both rainy days and garden fun. I have loved that they head out in the morning most days to get plenty of fresh air, whatever the weather and we have lots of pictures through-out the day, which both my husband and I really enjoy receiving.
Our main aim was for my daughter to spend more time with other children and to socialise but she has gained so much more from being with Emma and her little group. Her confidence, learning and development has come on in leaps and bounds, which has a lot to do with Emmas safe, secure and loving environment.

Emma is wonderful; my 20 month old daughter was always super happy to be going to her even though it was only sporadic visits while we settled into our new home. I loved that I knew my little one was always going to be doing different activities/toddler groups/going on walks and that I was always updated with photos of her adventures 😊 I couldn’t have made a better choice with Emma - highly recommend!

Emma has been looking after our little girl since she was just over 1 yrs old. She’s now nearly 2 and has thrived in Emma’s care. Not only the adventures they get up to with Bertie the dog in various parks and woodlands, but the interaction with other children and the love and care that Emma provides. Emma’s home is a wonderful safe place full of toys and warmth and my Poppy often shuts the door on us and waves ‘goodbye’ when we drop her off, she is so very happy there. We couldn’t recommend Emma more highly Xx

Emma has taken on my two girls who are almost 2 and 6 years old. She immediately made them feel safe, comfortable in her home and tailored her approach perfectly to them as individuals with very different needs.
From the outset I had complete confidence that they would be extremely well cared for and it would be a home from home. Emma is so warm and nurturing and it is very clear that she loves her work.
My youngest had some separation anxiety to begin with when I would leave in the morning but Emma was able to very quickly settle her. She would contact me as soon as my daughter was happy to reassure me that she was ok and I received photos of her happy, smiling and playing which I truly appreciated.
Emma is very proactive with the time she spends with the children and they undertake a wide range of activities to stimulate exploration and learning. Her home environment is completely tailored to childminding with so many different toys and games. She encourages outdoor time and has a trampoline and numerous garden activities.
The family dog, Bertie is adorable and a real addition to the children’s experience. He is extremely friendly and gentle but there is also the possibility for him to be in a separate space if a child was nervous around dogs. Emma’s children who are sometimes present after school are so polite and friendly and such a credit to her. My daughters love engaging with them when they are there and it is lovely for my eldest to get to know older children at the school.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Emma, she has enabled the transition of us leaving our children in somebody else’s care both easy and seamless. She is a wonderful person who is fantastic at her job.

Emma is a completely fantastic childminder and my daughter loves her time there. She's been with Emma since turning one and her day involves plenty of fresh air with daily walks in the woods and trips to the park. There are visits to toddler groups too and the children also have plenty of space to play at home, both in Emma's lovely garden and indoors. Emma's experience with children has been invaluable and she's been a huge help supporting weaning, potty training and behaviour management. Emma cooks a good variety of healthy food and as you can tell we've been incredibly happy. I would say it's really been the wonderful personalised experience you'd think you could only achieve by hiring a nanny and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
