About Me

Bonjour, I'm a fully qualified primary school teacher and mum of a toddler. I am currently working part time teaching French in primary schools across Liverpool.

I am absolutely passionate about the benefits of learning a language (any language) at a young age and whole heartedly believe that the personal, social and academic skills gained during the language-learning process can massively impact a child's future academic career in any subject but, more importantly, their outlook on the world around us. For me personally, I found that learning a foreign language gave me a much greater understanding of English grammar and even helped with my English language school work, greatly improved my self confidence, encouraged me to travel and of course enabled me to communicate and make friends (and a husband) with people that I never would have interacted with.

I gained French, Spanish and geography A Levels from Blue Coat and immediately left to live and study in France for three years. While there I discovered my love of teaching and returned to Liverpool to become a primary school teacher. After two years of full time teaching of the primary curriculum I found my dream job as a French language teacher in different schools across Liverpool which I absolutely love.
