If you are first time mum,parent looking for a childminder who will make you feel at ease please take a moment to read this ❤️

As a first time mum finding childcare for my little boy was one of the biggest decisions I had to make. There were so many things to think about so many worries and honestly I was quite anxious about leaving my baby with someone else for the first time. Maximus was just nine months old when he started with caroline and I wanted to find someone who would genuinely care for him understand his needs and give him the individual attention I felt he needed at that age.

I found caroline here on on this website, and I am so grateful that I did.

From our very first meeting caroline made me feel comfortable and reassured. She took the time to explain everything answer my questions and talk me through the differences between childminders and nurseries. What I particularly appreciated was that she never made me feel pressured into choosing her. She was open honest, warm and incredibly informative, and I left our meeting feeling confident that I understood everything and that I had found the right person for us.

Looking back I honestly couldn't have made a better choice.

The care and love she gives to the children is what stands out the most.

I cannot fault the way caroline looks after max. She is caring patient, attentive and genuinely invested in his wellbeing. During our settling in sessions I was naturally nervous but seeing how settled and comfortable max became helped put my mind at ease so much. He has never cried when going into her house and seeing his little face light up when he sees caroline is one of the loveliest things as a mum. ❤️

Her home is also beautifully clean and welcoming which was important to me and she keeps me updated with detailed notes about what max has been doing, what he has eaten, the activities they have enjoyed and whether they hace been out to a playgroup. She also shares photos and videos which I absolutely love. It means I can see little glimpses of his day and feel connected to what he is experiencing even when I am at work.

One thing I woul really like other parents to know is that being with a childminder doesn't necessary mean your little one misses out on socialising or new experiences.

Caroline regularly takes the children to playgroups where they can spend time with other children play socialise and build their confidence. They then come home and enjoy further activities and developmental play. I love that maxi gets the best of both worlds, the comfort and individual attention of a smaller home environment alongside opportunities to explore learn and interact with other children.

As a first time mum I have also really appreciated caroline's advice support and understanding. Whether I had questions about max's routine sleep or different stages of his development, she's always been happy to offer guidance and reassurance. Having someone experienced and approachable to turn to has been genuinely valuable to me.

Another huge reason Caroline has been such a perfect fit for our family is her flexibility.

I am self employed and run my own business, so returning to work after nine months of maternity leave came with plenty of worries of its own. I wasn't sure how quickly my business would pick up again and I needed childcare that could work around the realities of being self employed. Caroline has been incredibly understanding and accommodating, which has taken a huge amount of pressure off me during what has been a big transition.

I know every family has different needs and for me that flexibility, combined with the personal care max receives has made such a difference.

I know how daunting it can feel when you are looking for childcare for the first time. You want someone you can trust, someone who understands that your little one is your whole world and someone who will treat them with kindness and care when you are not there.

For me Caroline has been exactly that person.

I am genuinely grateful that I found her and I would happily recommend her to any parent looking for a caring atentive and suportive childminder. Choosing childcare is such a personal decision but if you are feeling nervous or unsure where to start I hope my experience gives you a little reassurance.
