My Summary

My Experience

I completed a three-year Primary Education degree and have taught children between the ages of 3-11. I have teaching experience in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. I, therefore, have a large amount of experience with children 3 years+ and enjoy working with and caring for children of all ages. I have many references available from primary schools and nurseries that I have completed highly successful work placements in.

In summer 2016 I worked at an American summer camp for children aged 5-16. Here I spent two months looking after the youngest group of children at the camp who were between the ages of 5-8.

As part of my university degree, I specialised in 'Special Educational Needs' and therefore have a secure knowledge and understanding of how to work with and care for children with a range of special needs.

During my degree, I worked as a part-time carer for a child with global developmental delay. As well as caring for her in her home, I also took her to swimming lessons and tennis lessons. Since complying my degree, I have provided childcare for lots of different families. For two years I nannied for two girls aged 4 and 6, both with special educational needs. The eldest attended a special needs primary school. I also cared for a 9 year old boy with ASD, every Monday evening from April 2019 - April 2020.
