Hi there, My name is Kaylie I am 32 years old and live in Fishponds, Bristol.
A reliable, hardworking and dedicated Early Years Educator with a strong work ethic and healthy attitude to life. I am a trustworthy, open-minded person who enjoys learning. I have an in depth understanding of early childhood development and the EYFS framework. I achieved first class honours in Early Childhood Studies at the University of Gloucestershire in 2020. I have a genuine passion for working with children and families. I am a kind, caring, honest person. I am firm but fair and enjoy playing indoors and outdoors, also I am not afraid of messy play!!
A few of my interests are traveling, keeping fit (running/yoga), crochet, dress making, live music and music festivals.
My Experience
I have been working with children for over 15 years. In this time I have held sole charge Nanny roles both Live-in and Live-out. I have also managed a baby room, and preschool room in multiple private day nurseries. I am currently hold a Deputy Manager position at a Bristol Forest School/Outdoor Setting. I have also worked at a summer camp in America, I was there for 4 months teaching children lots of outdoor activities from archery to kayaking, and everything in between.
I have worked with children from 3 months to 12 years. I take care of all nursery duties, plan and prepare exciting age-appropriate activities for the children to enjoy. I like to make sure that myself and the children get outdoors at least once a day, whether it be to the local playground, to the lake to feed the ducks, an adventure in the woods or just in the back garden!
My Qualifications
First Class Hons Degree in Early Childhood Studies
NVQ Level 2 in Children's Care, Learning, and development
NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning, and development
Paediatric ( Advanced) First Aid
Clear DBS (Formally CRB)
Trained as a Designated Safeguarding Lead

Currently looking for Ad-Hoc evening babysitting. I may be available some Wednesday and Friday afternoons too.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (net)
Evening babysitting (from 6pm with a minimum of 3 hours) from £13 per hour.
Nanny rates to be discussed. Nanny rates are charged for any day time care, or when caring for children at an event. Eg. Weddings

My two girls simply fell in love with Kaylie from the moment they saw her. She is always upbeat, softly-spoken and has an extremely approachable demeanour when it comes to children. She found the right approach to my both bubbly but stubborn 5yo and to slightly awkward 7yo. The girls were devastated when they found out Kaylie could no longer nanny for us, but she handled it very well and helped them overcome their very complex emotions. Kaylie is not phased by anything the kids may throw at her and was very helpful around the house, too. She can really get down to the child's level and always full of ideas on qhat to do next. She has a calm and disciplined attitude. We will kiss her very much ❤
