Gem is the real life Mary Poppins and she deserves to be in the childcare hall of fame alongside Julie Andrews and Emily Blunt.

Firstly and most importantly to us, we always knew that our children (aged 1, 3, and 6) were safe and happy in her care. So much so, our children love her (and Esme) as if they were family and they’ll hopefully be lifelong friends.

Gem is very organised, planning every part of the day in advance (e.g. outfits, activities, days out, meals and snack). She would always turn up on time, ready to go, with her own nanny bag packed.

In the kitchen, Gem cooked healthy meals and regularly baked healthy snacks that the children loved. For example, for most of last year our eldest was learning about different countries at school so Gem decided to cook a different type of cuisine each week to mirror the country he was learning about.

Gem has such as strong work ethic and she just wants to help wherever she can. We never expected her to help around the house, but she would often wash the children’s clothes, put clean clothes away, or load/empty the dishwasher. We also cannot remember a single time she left the house without tidying up after the children.

It is amazing how quickly Gem became apart of our family and we are very happy to talk to anyone about our experience because it is impossible to fully explain how amazing she is in this review.
