I am a mum and grandmother. I have had many years experience with children including over 10 years as a preschool practitioner which I loved.
I love working with children and babies and I am kind, reliable, patient and trustworthy. I am great at reading stories, rocking babies and singing lullabies.
My children are mostly grown now at 32, 25, 24 and 12 years old. I have grandchildren age 6 and 4.
I am currently studying a degree in Art and humanities
My Experience
I have spent the last 30+ years raising my own children and now helping out with my lovely grandchildren.
I worked as Nanny for a family of 4 children.
I have worked as a preschool practitioner for over 10 years.
I have several regular babysitting clients some that I have worked for for years.
I have experience of caring for children of all ages.
I have provided babysitting services to holiday lets and also for events like weddings.
I have been actively involved in forest school sessions.
I volunteer with local family support
I have many years domestic experience, in both private homes and holiday lets. I am a competent cook and can carry out basic gardening tasks. I can help indoors and out. I am happy to consider most types of jobs.
I have experience with personal care and have worked in residential care and currently have personal care clients. So can offer respite care. I have enchanced DBS certificates.

My Availability
I am available during the week, evenings during the week and on some weekends. I may be available at other times than those listed. Do ask! I can do occasional overnights with plenty of notice.
I am available for areas within 10 miles of Kings Nympton
ie Chulmleigh, South Molton, Umberleigh.
I may be prepared to travel futher but this may incur travel costs.

- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
- Household Help from £14.00 per hour
To be paid hourly at the rates stipulated,
From £12.00 per hour for babysitting dependent on ages and number of children
New Year Eve rate £20 per hour

Lovely lady, my little one felt at ease with her from the offset and seemed to really enjoy her company. Provided with short notice and even ran over slightly and she was very understanding. 100% would recommend.
Overall
I have had Jeanette to sit for my children on several occasions.
They love it when she comes over and actually look forward to me going out so they get to have her come and sit for them - they say she is great fun!
I like having Jeanette sit for my kids as I have 100% peace of mind when she is looking after them. She has a lot of experience of looking after children of all ages and taught preschool children for over 10 years as well as having 4 children of her own. I can go out knowing someone who is great with kids and could cope in the awful event of an emergency is taking care of them.
She is always reliable, on time, friendly and flexible. I trust her totally with my little ones and it is always a pleasure to see her. A really lovely lady.
