Sam is Amazing! When we first met Sam and her family we were made to feel extremely welcome by everyone, including the rabbits! We were so impressed, we instantly felt like we didn't have to visit any other childminder.
Sam provides our daughter with a fun and emotionally rewarding environment where we have no doubt that she receives the love and care we ourselves would give her on a daily basis. From the daily photo updates we get via text, the daily diary and the monthly newsletter emails, we feel that we are adequately informed of Harper's day to day activities and routine. If you are looking for someone who will treat your child as the unique individual that they are, then look no further! Sam it is an absolute pleasure to have you in our child's life :)

I am genuinely delighted to write this referral for Sam, not only because she is an outstanding childminder, but because she has also become a trusted friend to our family. Sam has been caring for my children since my eldest daughter was just 10 months old back in 2016, and she now looks after my 3 year old daughter with the same warmth, patience, and dedication she has shown from the very beginning.
Sam creates a truly wonderful environment for the children in her care. It’s a place where they feel safe, happy, and completely themselves. She has a natural ability to make every child feel valued and included, and her setting is full of enriching activities that spark curiosity and support their development. The photos she sends throughout the day are such a joy – they capture the fun, the learning, and all the little moments that show just how much the children adore being with her.
One of the things I appreciate most is how incredibly attentive she has been to my daughter’s allergies. Sam has always taken this responsibility seriously, following every guideline with care and ensuring her environment is safe and well‑managed. Her communication has been exceptional, and I’ve always felt completely confident leaving my daughter in her hands. She also makes the best vegan lemon drizzle cake!
Sam is warm, reliable, and deeply committed to the children she looks after. She has played a significant role in my daughters’ early years, and I am truly grateful for the love, stability, and positive impact she has had on our family. We are very sad to be leaving her this year, as she has been such an important part of our lives for so long. As both a parent and a friend, I would not hesitate to recommend her to any parent seeking a caring, trustworthy, and highly capable childminder.
