About Me
I am a childminder in Brixton Hill SW2. I offer a warm home-from-home service for a maximum of 6 children, aged 0 to 8 years old any time. Following the Early Year Foundation Stage curriculum. I've had forest school training, and I'm a strong believer that outdoor learning does wonders for children's development.
I'm surrounded by amenities such as parks, children centres, local shops and I am 2 minute walk from the main bus route on Brixton Hill and 15 minute walk to Brixton station.
I provide a safe, secure, homely childcare service from my home. I'm energetic, enthusiastic, and friendly, providing a warm, lovely, fun, and welcoming environment for children.
My home nursery is a Montessori setting, which encourages child led play.
My home is clean and smoke free with lots of appropriate age toys for the children to play with. My activities are based on the Early Year Foundation stage. I create activities that promote inclusion, independence, exploration, communication and physical development.
My Experience
Before having my daughter, I worked in two different day nursery a year each; one in which i managed for a short period of time.
I also have experience with primary school-age children.

Ashley is a brilliant early years educator, with a lovely, bright, clean home nursery and a perfectly set up garden space. Ashley is organised, warm and welcoming and my children loved going there. I trusted Ashley from the first visit and would definitely recommend Little Blessings as a cosy, home from home where your precious ones will be comfortable, happy, can learn and thrive.

Ashley creates a warm and loving home-from-home environment and clearly enjoys what she does. Our daughter loves going to Ashley's and really enjoys the combination of outings and home play activities and has flourished in her care.
We had interviewed a few child-minders before meeting Ashley, but knew within minutes of meeting her that she was a perfect fit for us.
She's very knowledgeable and her passion for the job shows. She more than met our expectations-which as first time parents were very high (with hindsight possibly too high). Her home is immaculate with lots of toys for different age groups, she has a lovely garden and provides nutritious meals and snacks which means that my daughter really looks forward to each day as they have so much fun packed days together.
We're very lucky to have found Ashley.
