I am a caring, responsible, and creative childcare provider with over 5 years of experience supporting children from infancy to early teens. I also work as a freelance film and TV director, primarily on a project basis, with a strong focus on stories involving family and youth. My diverse skill set has allowed me to connect with children while bringing creativity and structure to the environments I support. As the eldest of four siblings, I have lifelong, practical experience in child development and care.
My Experience
My latest nannying job was from 2018 - 2020. I looked after a lovely 10 month year old girl for 3-4 days a week. I played games, took her to the park, read her stories and made her food.
In 2017 I was a nanny to a 10 year old girl. I would bring her home, make her dinner, help with her homework and give her a bedtime story.
My newborn experience has been nannying my step brother in 2016. My duties involved defrosting his milk, feeding him and putting him down for bed. My youngest sister is now 12 years old but I have had many years of looking after her as a toddler.
In 2012 I took care of a 10-year-old girl in London for the summer holidays, creating fun activities on the weekends and picking her up from school everyday.
In 2011 I went to Cambodia and volunteered at a local primary school and worked as an art teacher for a week. The children were aged 7-10 and we created fun art workshops for them to get involved in.

Stroma has worked for me on an ad-hoc basis looking after my young daughter (when my nanny was unavailable) babysitting at our home. She is bright, fun, responsible, gentle and caring. She is great at creative play. It is a pleasure having her around. Highly recommended.
