My Son has been with Kathleen since he was 9 months old, he's now an energetic 3 year old! The whole settling in process was managed very well, Kathleen met with us in advance so we could meet her and we could see her very safe and child friendly home.

While needing to find childcare for work purposes, Kathleen's care has been everything we could have wanted. As a working mum I needed a child care provider who was reliable and nurturing; I can guarantee this is exactly how Kathleen is.

I am absolutely confident that he has the best time at Kathleen's. This is confirmed through his wishes to go to Kathleen's even on some of his days off!

On the occasions I have had difficulty with transition ; Kathleen has always been so patient and welcoming it really helps! She's incredibly flexible and what is lovely is she supports us both and gives lots of reassurance: updates through out the day, pictures and little messages so we both always feel in touch. His enthusiasm to be with Kathleen and his friends at her setting is always confirmed with him running straight in the morning and not wanting to leave at the end of the day!

I love that Kathleen will take the children to a variety of activities including classes, soft play, parks, children's centres, the library and just so much more. She is very in tune with the children's needs and can adjust the schedule to suit the needs of everyone. When home based I know her setting follows the EYFS structure; she has a wide variety of games, arts crafts, toys, activities and a fantastic resourced garden for the children to be engaged and learn.

She offers the children a varied balanced diet with her home made meals and includes lots of fruit and snacks which she tops up all the way until home time! Our son is always leaving with a snack in hand!

I strongly believe the well rounded person my son is becoming is of huge credit to Kathleen. I am confident she helps to instil positive behaviours and handles the children in her care with such a calm and professional manner.

All I can say is if she has a space available, TAKE IT! :)) I can 100% recommend Kathleen to perspective parents, I couldn’t have done the last couple of years without her.
