Very sad to leave
My three daughters have been cared for by Kathleen since they were each 12 months old, so we've been with her for 10 years now. Very sadly, we have moved house to another borough and our youngest daughter has only three weeks left in this provision. As parents, we feel emotional about this. Kathleen has been a key adult in their lives, and they always enjoy being in her setting. As others have said, she is calm in her approach. The kids are always well fed. Kathleen puts effort into making each week interesting, from riverside walks to water play, from making their own musical instruments to learning about Chinese New Year. She is responsive to what the children are interested in doing/exploring. Kathleen also sends us photos of the activities, which allows us to feel part of their day. The girls also like looking back over these photos, which prompt discussions about what they have been doing/learning. We always feel safe leaving the girls there, knowing that Kathleen regularly updates her own learning and training, and takes health and safety seriously. We will really miss her, but are sure she will feature heavily in our kids childhood memories as they get older.
